Job Description

We are looking for a Jira Specialist / TPM who can independently manage Jira with minimal supervision and support program management teams on different initiatives within the organization to drive overall organizational excellence. While the primary focus will be on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Jira to build a reliable system of records along with the core process team, the position will require, from time to time, engaging and collaborating with different stakeholders to drive outcomes on different standalone projects of strategic importance as well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Jira workflows, screens, fields, and issue types as and when needed 
  • Set up and manage Jira boards, filters, dashboards, and reports using JQL. 
  • Troubleshoot Jira-related issues and provide timely resolution. 
  • Identify inefficiencies in Jira usage and propose improvements. 
  • Work closely with Agile teams to ensure Jira reflects best practices. 
  • Document Jira processes and provides training to users as needed. 
  • Support integrations between Jira and other tools 
  • Hands-on experience configuring Jira automation and scripting (e.g., Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, or REST API). 
  • Act as Scrum Master for a couple of scrum teams with a focus on coaching the teams towards improving the delivery of value 
  • Closely work & help Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end program management covering technical and non-technical functionalities across a multiple, cross-functional program landscape 
  • While JIRA would be the primary focus, the candidate may be expected to lead & Drive programs independently as a Program Manager/TPM.

- Coordinate internally with all functions to assess the status of the projects and their risks in Chemical Manufacturing

Walmart Cross Border Trade (CBT) India team is hiring Manager, Program Management to setup the training and upskilling charter for India CBT. The role holder is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills, performance, and professional development of associates. S/He is expected to conduct workshops and classroom training sessions for the associates as per their training needs. This role holder collaborates with leadership to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. About the Team

The Walmart India Cross Border team provides an opportunity for Indian brands, manufacturers, MSMEs and other potential sellers sell their products across global Walmart online marketplaces helping them expand their business internationally as cross-border sellers on Walmart Marketplace (Cross Border Trade), where they could reach a growing market of more than 120 million U.S. consumers each month. This is part of Walmart’s efforts to expand its sourcing from India to $10 billion a year by 2027

What you'll do

- Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and consultation with managers.
- Design, develop, and deliver effective training programs and materials for associates at all levels.
- Oversee onboarding programs for new hires and ongoing development for current employees.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure training aligns with business objectives.
- Track training participation and maintain accurate records.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development

What you'll bring

- Masters / Post Graduate Degree
- 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training software.
- Understanding of eCommerce and cross border trade space.
- Certification in training or development (e.g., CPTD, ATD, SHRM-CP).
- Experience in retail or large-scale operations.
- Ability to analyze data and report on training effectiveness.
