2. Job Purpose

• The Dean of a School at the University is a senior academic administrator who is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative operations of a specific school within the university. The Dean works closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the quality and success of the school's programs and initiatives.
• Dean has academic, programmatic, managerial, and fiscal responsibilities for a designated academic School.

3. Key Accountability

Strategic

• Building a vision of excellence and national leadership in each unit of the School and monitoring progress toward short, medium, and long-term goals
• work with the Vice Chancellor / EP to strategize and achieve the long-term vision and goals of the school and Implement the Strategic Plan for the School in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the University
• Identify the Uncertainty prevailing in the market related to the programmes of the School and recommend investment decisions for each program (existing / new).
• Recommend the value proposition of each programme based on competition mapping.
• Vision and mission promotion: You will need to promote the vision and mission of the university to all stakeholders within and outside the school
