Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various project accounting activities like Job set up/maintenance, back up, Transfers, uploads etc.
- Assist the team in preparation of various scheduled reports on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis such as project performance reports, unbilled reports, task billing reports etc.
- Reviewing and Posting Labour/Equipment record in Oracle upon receipt of logs from PM's
- Adhere to SOP's for performing all activities assigned, follow all corporate policies and report any inconsistencies to immediate supervisor
- Maintain the billing folders for all projects, with all the appropriate documents, including expenses, consultant invoices, and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures.
- Ready to handle voluminous data with expected quality and accuracy.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration with year of passing as 2021 - 2024.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Percentage criteria - 65 % throughout the academics, no backlogs.
- Understanding of transaction processing, data analysis.
- Experience in Computerized Accounting systems will be a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Good excel skills, e.g. using pivot tables to analyze and report on large volumes of data, v look ups)
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Strong team and collaboration bias
- Willingness to learn and ask questions in a positive, non-confrontational manner
- Flexibility to stretch the shift as per business needs and sometimes to work on weekends.

**Key Purpose**
The purpose of this role is to provide proactive financial oversight and support across the project lifecycle, ensuring robust project hygiene, accurate reporting, and strong stakeholder engagement. The role serves as a key point of contact for project managers-delivering training, troubleshooting, and guidance to improve financial awareness and project compliance. Through regular project reviews and insightful reporting, the role identifies projects requiring attention and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including billing support, to drive corrective actions. Ultimately, the position supports the delivery of financially sound, well-governed projects through enhanced visibility, engagement, and operational discipline.
**Core Accountabilities**
+ Work towards compliance with NI 52-109 for all Project Finance controls in an Oracle environment
+ Provide Internal Audit support
+ Review processes and suggest improvements
+ Analysis of Working capital for various businesses/ projects
+ Perform Project reviews and timely identification of risks and opportunities.
+ Comparison of actuals vs budgets /forecasts and identifying reasons for variations
+ Contribute to delivering Business Unit P&L, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
+ Coordination with different team members including project leaders, business partners and GBS
+ Review of various reports like utilisation reports, time cost reports, etc. and reaching logical conclusions
+ Analysing the cost to complete of different projects
+ Good understanding of the business and analysing the numbers based on the business understanding
+ Provide ad-hoc reporting and reconciliations as required
+ Preparing and finalising reports pertaining to various projects for Global reporting
+ Reviewing and carrying out project wise, Business Unit wise cost & margin analysis and providing reasons for the erosion/ gain of margins
**Personal Attributes**
+ Full accountancy qualification with a recognised organisation (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
+ Experience of finance business partnering, supporting a variety of senior stakeholders.
+ Confident in communicating at all levels of the organisation
+ Committed to enhancing collaboration across organisational boundaries
+ Committed to continuous improvement and lifelong learning
+ Familiar with working in collaboration with shared services teams

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle e-Business Suite (eBS) Project Costing and Billing Consultant with strong domain expertise in project accounting. The candidate will play a key role in implementing, supporting, and managing Oracle eBS project modules, working closely with clients and offshore teams.


Note: Frequent travel to Saudi would be there


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, support, and manage Oracle eBS Project Costing, Billing, and Project Accounting modules.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and document business processes.
  • Collaborate with offshore technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle eBS Project Costing, Billing, and Project Accounting.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Project Accounting and related modules.
  • Ability to elicit requirements, design solutions, document processes, and coordinate with technical teams.
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
