Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Software Project Manager to join our team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time, mid-level role requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The candidate will oversee various projects within TeachEdison, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with our strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in agile methodologies such as Agile Methodologies (Mandatory skill), ensuring adaptive planning and evolutionary development.
• In-depth understanding of Scrum (Mandatory skill) methodologies to manage complex software development projects effectively.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including Project Planning (Mandatory skill).
• Strong stakeholder management skills to facilitate effective communication and negotiation with different parties.
• Experience with JIRA for project tracking, collaboration, and reporting.
• Proficient in resource allocation, optimizing team collaboration and output while maintaining budget constraints.
• Solid grasp of release management processes to handle the deployment of new versions and updates systematically.
• Detailed understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project delivery from inception to conclusion.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage multiple software projects within budget and time constraints.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals.

- coordination with site team to ensure day to day requirement of site, Ensuring availability of resource

- Ensure project profitability, cost optimization etc.

-Hands-on experience of Coal Handling System & associated equipment such as Stacker, Reclaimer, Crusher, Junction Towers, Conveyors, Screen, Dust Extraction & Suppression System, Pumps, Compressors, Hydraulics & Pneumatics etc.

- Operation & Maintenance of Ash Handling System

- Knowledge of RCFA, MTBF, MTTR etc.

- People Management

- Factory Act & Rules, Labour Laws and Other Statutory Requirements in Similar Industry

- Ready for short / long travel to sites

- Communication & Soft skills

Educational Qualification

: o MBA or Bachelors with relevant experience in Electronics devices procurement

Experience Required:

o 6-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement of various Electronic Devices, IT hardware, software including strategic supplier selection, contracting, software strategy planning and costing, ODM/OEM shortlisting

o Mandatory experience of driving RFPs, negotiations, BOM level costing, purchase order management, contracts negotiation, supplier management, project management, E-Sourcing (Oracle/SAP)

Job Description:

o Drive big RFPs with key suppliers and internal stakeholders o Collaborate with suppliers to optimize the total cost of ownership o Evaluate BOM, negotiate with key BOM suppliers and optimize it further o Drive localization for various E-BOM, P-BOM and M-BOM components o Introduce, develop, and continuously improve best-in-class sourcing techniques, strategies,

incentives and practices with a focus on risk management and project savings o Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage the vendor due-diligence process for new

vendors o Ensure 100% compliance on regulatory requirements / certifications, applicable on products o Work with internal and external resources to stay informed on potential policy changes

impacting current and future procurement strategies o Manage and efficiently communicate risk of long-term supply contracts (e.g., credit exposure,

commodities, technology, performance, etc.) o Develop leading metrics and indices to manage supply/demand including commodity pricing,

interest rates, exchange rates, manufacturing capacity and other market signals o Benchmark the best practices while proposing any sourcing decisions o Develop and manage a technology and cost database for equipment including long-term
