Key duties and responsibilities include:
+ Manage all aspects of planning, scheduling, and programming of work.
+ Lead planning input on assigned projects, including managing contributions from other planners to ensure consistent and effective delivery aligned with scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.

Technical Skills

+ Advanced knowledge of the philosophies, principals, practices & techniques of planning.

- Prepare the Road Map and produce the Road Map Basis Document.
- Lead and participate in interactive planning sessions with project teams.
- Work daily with Primavera P6 scheduling program to prepare engineering and procurement schedules for Rail Systems projects. Analyze regularly and prepare reports for the purpose of dispute resolution.
- Plan sequence of operations, develop the baselines to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion deadlines, perform labour forecasting and levelling, identify the critical path, revise schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

+ Evaluate impact of the project trends for cost and schedule, provide most accurate total impacts by ensuring inclusion of all cost categories (engineering, material, equipment, construction) and schedule impacts.
+ Ensure all project/discipline related risks are raised.
+ Record risk items, update, and maintain risk register.

+ Experience with Project scheduling & Primavera P6 a must.
Mandatory Skills
+ 8-12 years Experience with Project scheduling with O & G, Power, Mining Processing industry experience.
+ Demonstrable capability in Project Controls, and proven skills in the use of Primavera / Microsoft / other planning products (e.g. Primavera Project Management, Primavera Risk Analysis, Microsoft Project)
+ Understanding the Project Controls function to align with.

+ Risk and Opportunity Management
Desired Skills
+ 8-12 years Valuable experience in planning is considered and asset
+ Understanding management of changes implications
+ Understanding Earned Value Management guiding principles considered a plus.

+ Must be time flexible and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Attention to detail is critical
+ Familiarity with other analytics tools such as Power Point, Excel, Power BI & equivalent dashboards.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
+ Work experience on **cost control** will be an added advantage.
+ Previous experience in an EPCM environment in the O & G, Power, Mining processing industry is an asset.
+ Must have minimum 8-12 years of experience post-graduation, preferably relating to a large-scale professional services work environment.
+ Degree holder with Engineering + MBA-Operations management or diploma or certificate in Project Management or other applicable area would be an asset.
+ Work experience on AU/NZ projects would be advantageous.
+ PMP certification would be advantageous.
