What you will do :
Partner with Release Leads for Production Release planning, preparation, deployment and status reporting.
Support to maintain a comprehensive release calendar, aligning release schedules with Rolling wave plan and Business priorities .
Create and publish release playbooks/rollback procedures to standardize release processes and detailed validation .
Support planning of release activities to support release pipeline, avoid release conflicts and maintain schedule to align with Product team, Business partners, and vendors.
Support to conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews to manage risks and resolve issues that can impact deployment schedule/plan.
Support the Go-Live activities, including the execution of the deployment plans/checklists and providing the deployment status to Product and Business partners.
Collaborate with Release Leads for Incident/Defect Management.
Support the ECM-CHG process and Digital Product Release forms to ensure all necessary documentation and approvals are in place to meet the TJX standard process for Security, Compliance, and Regulatory guidelines.
Participate in MIMS call for support of Production issues/lNCs to maintain stores operational stability .
Measure release cadence using analytics, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the release efficiencies.
Must Have:
Experience as a Release Analyst or Senior Project Analyst with agile teams using scrum/SAFe .
Proactive and 'can do' attitude to support the releases .
Strong oral (presentation+ conversational communication) and written skills to present release update within Business and IT leadership
Experience working with Solution Delivery teams and having a good understanding of technologies to understand issues and come up with risk mitigation.
Knowledge/Understanding of Stores infrastructure and Store Operations will be an asset.
Must have the ability to work with JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now .
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and support extended hours if needed .

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager – Build and Release to lead our build, deployment, and release management functions. This role is critical in ensuring smooth and secure software delivery operations, driving process optimization, and aligning infrastructure and DevOps practices with business and technology goals. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in project management , CI/CD , DevOps , and infrastructure oversight , along with proven team leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategy & Planning:- Define and drive the build and release strategy in alignment with business and technology roadmaps.
- Create scalable and efficient release management frameworks, ensuring repeatable and high-quality deployments.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of all release, build, and deployment processes and policies.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to align release cycles and prioritize release objectives.
- Lead efforts to automate and improve build, deployment, and release pipelines.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo , etc.
- Drive continuous integration and delivery best practices across teams to reduce manual overhead and improve delivery efficiency.
- Champion DevOps culture and practices across engineering and operations teams.
- Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of build servers and deployment environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the build and release ecosystem.
- Implement robust security protocols and controls across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure uptime, stability, and compliance of deployment infrastructure.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers and release managers.
- Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and professional development support to team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct performance reviews and develop growth plans for direct reports.
- Manage cross-functional projects with defined timelines, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Align resources and budgets with project priorities and organizational strategy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management , with at least 5 years in a project or release management leadership role.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools , DevOps practices , and modern software delivery pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of build and release engineering , scripting, and automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent project management , communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, Scrum, or Agile certifications.
- Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments (e.g., finance, healthcare, etc.).
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and log management tools.
