Required Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Proposal Manager or Budgeting or SOW, Scope of Work.
Should be proficient in Excel, Quote, budget, financial analysis, database analysis, proposal management, clinical research, pricing strategy, central labs.
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal stakeholders, clients and LabCorp senior management.
Knowledge of proposal management software applications (e.g., Salesforce.com, Proposal Automation applications) is preferred.
Demonstrated text editing and writing skills (based on business unit and/or team expectations).
Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize.
Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
Proven ability to work independently
Ability to work to deadlines
Strong analytical skills.
Positive attitude and sense of urgency
Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate global schedules or meet the client’s delivery needs.

Responsibilities of the Role:
- Owner of all aspects of post-win through project closeout process (quote, budget, financial analysis, and database analysis) for assigned opportunities (inclusive of managing opportunities under general supervision, establishing clear timelines, meeting client requirement, escalating obstacles)
- Responsible for managing opportunities of low to medium complexity
- Review and analyze internal client documents to ensure adequate information for budget management is provided. Follow up with appropriate contact for additional information as required.
- Ensure all financial billing activity aligns operationally via financial analysis of all billable data.
- Shadow applicable internal operational calls related to the opportunity
- Works across the organization in matrix environment to lead the process and complete deliverables
- Continue maintenance of high quality and accurate budgets under the pressure of changing timelines
- Support facilitating internal and external opportunity management negotiations (i.e. pricing, process, resources, etc.) as needed
- Prepare budget financial analysis summaries to support contractual approval, via internal documents.
- Ensures timely delivery of assigned deliverables
- Performs timely and accurate data entry into corporate databases as appropriate
