This highly motivated individual will be responsible for leading and driving NPI (New Product Introduction) and Localization projects for Fiber to Home and related Broadband Telecommunication product developments with close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
- This role will be accountable for right Cost derivation and service focusing on speed to develop/ localize in-region with clear Project tracking and monitoring results. The right candidate should have relevant experience in Procurement of Fiber Management Products which includes Fiber cable, Connectors, Molded Plastic Components, Polymers, UTP Cable etc. Exposure to SAP and project management is essential. Knowledge of related Pan India vendor base is required.
- Own and drive the sourcing and procurement process for new product introductions/localization including but not limited to:
- Vendor selections and qualifications with respect to category / risk defined.
- Part qualification in collaboration with Engineering, Operation, Supplier Quality and QA
- Development at right cost and service level to ensure project outputs are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally and globally) to understand product requirements and identify potential suppliers which satisfy said needs.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses on project status, constraints, and mitigations.
- Build costing templates and analyze gaps to negotiate against vendor part quotes / costs.
- Expertise in FTH Products and experience in contract manufacturing and make/buy decisions.
- Strong project tracking, and engagement with partners to overcome constraints to keep project status on track.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent area.
- Preferably 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Localization Project leadership
- Solid understanding of Fiber distribution to home products and vendor base in India
- This position requires considerable liaison with peers and managing Cross functional relationships.

**Introduction**

**Primary Responsibility**
+ Responsible for initiating and managing RFQ, lead time, should cost (Cost estimation) request assigned by internal stakeholders.
+ Able to utilize existing supplier matrix for quoting, negotiate and award business to supplier.
+ Drive dual sourcing to ensure supply continuity, understand long-lead drivers and develop lead time mitigation strategies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define sourcing strategies/ plans for NPI/ Pilot projects.
+ Responsible for supplier part qualification per inspection requirements for components identified as critical parts.
+ Ability to understand multi-level BOM, read drawings, special process/ specifications and communicate with suppliers.
+ Identify make vs. buy opportunities and drive alignment/decision with key stakeholders
+ Using software tools, perform regular cost roll-up and analyze cost performance to drive corrective action as required to achieve product cost target.
+ Responsible for resolving discrepancies between cost targets and quoted cost, create and deliver presentations to program executives and CFT stakeholders.
+ Develop supplier selection process for piece parts and outsourced modules/ assemblies, identify supply chain risks supporting sourcing decisions.

**Qualification & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (Preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Electronics) with minimum of 6 years of experience into sourcing, program management and supplier management.
+ Must have Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics commodity experience
**Job Specific skills/Knowledge (Mandatory)**
+ Should have prior **sourcing, negotiation, dual sourcing, and supplier management** experience.
+ Should have prior experience in **Cost Optimization, Spend Analysis**

Please send your resume to Key Responsibilities:Conduct strategic sourcing activities, including market analysis, category strategy development, supplier negotiations, and RFP execution.Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and process efficiencies.Lead sourcing execution workstreams, working directly with clients to guide procurement best practices.Analyze supplier proposals and make strategic recommendations to optimize value.Collaborate cross-functionally to support procurement transformation initiatives.Ability to identify, evaluate and prioritize cost transformation opportunities through in-depth spend analysis.Deep Experience in cleansing, classification/categorization, and presentation of a spend analysis.Understanding of the UNSPC/e Class/NIGP/SIC among other classification schemas.Conduct category-specific secondary market research to come up with strong recommendations.Developing and/or customizing RFX templates and pricing worksheets.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsQualifications:Sr. Consultant: Minimum 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing.Prior experience in management consulting or procurement transformation.Must have worked with some North American/European customers in the past. Strong consulting experience, ideally from Big 4, Accenture, or a specialized sourcing firm.Experience working directly with clients and leading sourcing execution workstreams.Expertise in RFP development, supplier negotiations, and contract management.Strong analytical and communication skills.Excellent team player The role requires working from 4:00 PM IST to 1:00 AM IST.If you are a strategic thinker with strong consulting experience in procurement and sourcing, we’d love to hear from you!
