- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and Python
- Design and implement test strategies plans and test cases for automated testing
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality
- Perform manual testing when necessary to validate software functionality
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports
- Identify document and track defects using issue tracking systems
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and tools
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software development processes
- Analyze system requirements to determine testability completeness and consistency

We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Shared Platform Services team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
+ Contributing, Leading and Expanding automation coverage and infrastructure to improve the quality and efficiency of testing
+ Leading and contributing to the functional, system and automation testing of various features and solutions of the Zscaler
+ Defining cloud deployment procedures and monitors/alerts for the features and work with the cloud deployment team for the implementation
**What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)**
+ 4-7 years of experience in Quality Domain, speciality in a networking and security environment preferred
+ Experience testing an application hosted on Google Cloud Platform(GCP) at scale is a prerequisite
+ Strong networking skills on all the layers and well versed with TCP, UDP, ICMP protocols and Security protocols like TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS
+ Expertise in Scripting Languages like Python, TCL, Expect, etc
+ In-depth knowledge of Linux/Mac and windows OS
**What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)**
+ Experience setting testbeds in a Virtualization environment is desirable

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
