As a QA Manager you will lead a team of QA colleagues to ensure the solutions of our transportation and logistics software are tested and delivered following high-quality standards. - Requires 5+ years as a Senior or Staff level QA Engineer with extensive, demonstrable leadership and mentoring skills. 1 to 2 years QA manager experience preferred.
- Design and implement testing and QA strategy for the Rail-TMS program to ensure successful and high-quality product deliverables
- Take ownership of, lead, and contribute to the successful release delivery by performing hands on functional and non-functional testing
- Grow testing discipline within the team, drive process improvements, and introduce new test standards and capabilities
- Develop and implement strategies and techniques covering both functional (e.g. Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) and non-functional (e.g. Performance/Load, Usability, Security) software testing
- Lead QA team to build and deliver meaningful testing, providing analytical assessments on usability, blockers, estimates, operational capabilities, etc.
- Collaborate shoulder to shoulder with the development team, other quality leaders, and QA team members
- Mentor and build SMEs for all Rail-TMS environments (install, updated, downgrade) and adjacent technologies
- Provide direct management of QA engineers for reviews, assessments, disciplinary measures, growth plans, goals, and hiring.
