We are seeking a QA lead for IBM Cloud VPC team. This individual will play a crucial role in the cloud software development process, have a deeper understanding and experience in designing and implementing test strategies, in leading testing effort with the Product Development team, onshore/ offshore QA team, resulting in higher quality software products.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Skilled in testing tools, frameworks, API development
* Experience with test automation, debugging, and analytical skills
* Hands-on with programming languages such as Python, PHY test framework
* Good understanding of Cloud services. Development and deployment methodologies in cloud
* Hands on Kubernetes, DevOps, Jenkins integration, Build CI/CD test pipelines, container orchestration, artifactory/registries
* Working knowledge of Agile scrum, sprint, kanban, Jira boards
* Github repo management skills as, merge, rebase, branching, forking and submodules
* Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues

• 7 or more years of progressive work experience in business and system testing or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, or
related). 

· Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control roles. 

· Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools. 

· Proficiency in quality assurance and testing tools and software. 

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
