We are looking for a SAP QM Consultant - Expert to join us in remotely in India.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document quality management processes across manufacturing and supply chain operations to identify improvement opportunities aligned with SAP QM functionality.
- Configure and customize the SAP QM module to support quality planning, inspection processing, quality notifications, and audit management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in production, procurement, logistics, and IT to gather requirements and design effective quality management solutions.
- Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide user training and documentation to support successful adoption of QM processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP QM functional and technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to quality operations.
- Participate in SAP projects including implementations, rollouts, and upgrades with a focus on QM functionality and process integration.
- Support integration between QM and other SAP modules such as MM, PP, PM, and SD to ensure consistent and accurate quality-related data flows.
- Manage master data related to quality inspection plans, sampling procedures, catalogs, and quality certificates.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP QM in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles including inspection types, usage decisions, results recording, and quality notifications.
- Experience configuring quality control processes such as incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
- Familiarity with integration points between QM and modules like MM (procurement quality), PP (in-process quality), and PM (maintenance quality checks).
- Experience writing functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and interfaces related to QM.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA QM is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit support within a manufacturing or life sciences environment is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required.
