Advisor, Quality Assurance Engineering
**About your role:**
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be key in leading and managing the test team with both from test processes & Payment Acquiring Subject Matter Expertise perspective.
The role involves effective collaboration with internal and external stake-holders with effective communications & test management principle
**What you'll do:**
+ Involve in early requirement understanding and test initiation phase
+ Test estimation (ROM, HLE & DLE) and Test Planning
+ Test strategy preparation and presentation
+ Requirements review with the team and identifying requirements & design gaps
+ Participate and present in stage-gate meetings
+ Lead & manage team during the test preparation and execution phase taking complete accountability for the testing deliverables
+ Work with Program Managers and Product & Environment teams to ensure Day-1 test readiness
+ Work closely with Defect Manager & Product teams to resolve issues as per the SLA & OLAs
+ Publish Daily and weekly status reports to Program/project team and QA leadership
+ Monitor & Publish Test Planning & Execution Metrics
+ Lead continuous improvement & Automation initiatives within the QA team
**Experience you'll need to have:**
+ An engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from a reputable institution
+ Overall 12+ years of IT experience
+ At least 3 to 4+ years of Lead & Management experience in Payments' domain
+ At least 3+ years of Test Management experience
+ Experience with Dashboards, Unix scripts, APIs, SQL, databases and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
+ Passion for learning and leveraging technology to drive innovation in financial services.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
+ Certification in testing standards - ISTQB+ **Experience that would be great to have:**
+ Experience with automated testing tools
+ Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
+ Familiarity with security testing practices
+ Understanding of software development lifecycles
+ Certification in software testing methodologies
+ 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
+ 1+ year(s) of experience in Agile methodologies

**What does a successful Advisor, Software Development Engineering - Automation QA do?**
As a successful Automation QA Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Fiserv's Digital Banking platform. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests for cloud-native Open APIs, working closely with development and business teams to understand user interactions and translate them into robust test scenarios. You will be responsible for driving quality initiatives, implementing best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the QA team.
**What will you do:**
+ Design and implement functional and integration tests for REST APIs using Postman and other tools.
+ Develop test automation frameworks and generate test data.
+ Perform performance testing and analyze results using tools like Splunk.
+ Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
+ Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
+ Work with Azure DevOps and JIRA for test management and tracking.
+ Contribute to containerization and deployment testing using Docker and Kubernetes.

**What you will need to have:**
