Job Title: QC Engineer – PEB

Department: Quality Control

Location: Hyderabad

Reports To: Quality Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring quality standards in fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) in line with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant codes/standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.
• Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
• Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
• Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.
• Sound knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.).
• Understanding of painting and coating standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.

About the Role :

OLIVER is seeking a detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Manger to join our team. You'll serve as our brand guardian, working closely with the Studio Manager to ensure our creative output is consistently excellent and on-brand. This role is based in our predominantly print environment, where you'll be the final checkpoint before assets are made ready for dispatch.

What you will be doing:

As our Mid-Level QA Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the high standards of everything we produce.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working as a team, alongside a QC lead and Proofreader
• Thoroughly reviewing print materials before they go to production
• Ensuring grammatical accuracy and consistency across all copy
• Maintaining message consistency across all materials
• Verifying that all legal terms and conditions are correctly included and referenced
• Confirming proper use of trademarks, symbols, logos, and addresses
• Extending quality control to video, social, and digital assets
• Establishing and maintaining quality procedures and standards
• Implementing quality control gateways to ensure consistent creative output
• Providing constructive feedback to help our creative teams improve
• Staying current with industry standards and best practices
• Maintaining detailed records in the current systems of quality checks and approvals

What you will need to be great in this role:

We're looking for someone with solid experience in quality control, preferably in a print or marketing environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Exceptional attention to detail in design, typography, and layout
• Strong understanding of print production processes
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Solid skills in colour management
• Excellent proofreading and editing abilities
• In-depth understanding of brand guidelines and their application
• Familiarity with marketing and advertising legal requirements
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to all areas and members for the agency
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making abilities
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work well with diverse teams
• Adaptability to shifting priorities
• Passion for maintaining high standards and continuous improvement and a strong support for future-proofing the role and engaging in technological advances.

PP/PP-PI / Manufacturing :

1. S/4 HANA Manufacturing Master data and configuration experience
2. Experience in global deployments of SAP through understanding of procedures around different best practices.
3. Strong process knowledge in Production Planning (MRP), work experience in Make to Stock, Make to Order, Configure to Order, Repetitive, Kanban, Batch management processes.
4. PP integration experience with logistics components (MM/QM/SD/PM/FICO) needed.
5. Knowledge and experience on S/4 HANA Manufacturing E2E processes.
6. Experience in Industry Manufacturing solutions like PEO (Production Engineering & Operations), ETO, Advanced Variant Configuration, ePPDS planning & scheduling topics for industries.
7. Expertise in MES integrations (like Digital Manufacturing Cloud, Manufacturing Execution systems) with S/4 HANA.
8. Should be able to clearly demonstrate knowledge and work on various Discrete industry Manufacturing IS-Solutions.
9. Business & Mapping flow experience for E2E Discrete & Process industry manufacturing processes.
10. Knowledge on LoB topics in Supply Chain - IBP, EAM, and PLM integrations to S/4 HANA Manufacturing.

QM

1. QM Master data and configuration experience.
2. Experience in global deployments of SAP through understanding of procedures around different best practices.
3. Strong process knowledge in Quality management, work experience in handling quality inspection process.
4. Experience in setting up master data – Inspection methods, Quality Agreements, QIR, MICs and inspection plans.
5. QM integration experience with logistics components (MM/PP/SD/PM) needed.
6. QM workflow knowledge – Sample management, Quality certificates, Quality notifications and Quality control required.
7. Continuous process improvement hands-on experience on Audit management, Stability study, FMEA and control plans is preferred.
