- **Production Supervision**:
- Oversee day-to-day production activities in the sheet metal fabrication department.
- Coordinate with production staff to ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as needed to meet deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency measures to optimize production output.
- **Quality Control**:
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor product quality throughout the production process.
- Investigate and address quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- **Team Leadership**:
- Provide leadership and guidance to production and quality control teams.
- Train and mentor production staff on proper manufacturing techniques, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the production department.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality inspections, and test results.
- Generate reports and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output and quality performance.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech Mechanical) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
