Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Puducherry for a Language Tutor. The Language Tutor will be responsible for tutoring students and teaching English. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, and assessing student progress. Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled Japanese Language Translator with experience in the automotive domain to bridge communication between our Japanese-speaking stakeholders and our engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams. This role requires not just language proficiency, but also an understanding of automotive technical terminology, documentation, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate a variety of content (e.g., Automotive manuals, presentations) from English to (Target Language) and vice versa.

• Produce and edit transcripts in line with our transcription style guide.

• Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate.

• Proofread and edit translated material for grammar, consistency, and terminology.

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., content creators, marketing, legal) to clarify concepts and ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Maintain and update translation memory tools, glossaries, and style guides.

• Perform quality assurance checks on translated documents.

• Meet assigned deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English and (Target Language), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong understanding of grammar, sentence structure, and the relationship between spoken and written language.

• Japanese language certification at B1 or B2 level (JLPT N2 or N3 or equivalent)

• Proven experience as a professional translator or in a similar role (typically 2+ years preferred). Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Familiarity with translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast) is a plus.

• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to target audiences.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Certification in translation (e.g., ATA Certification, NAATI accreditation).

• Specialized knowledge in areas such as Automotive.

• Experience with localization projects and multilingual content management.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Communications, or a related field.

Your expertise will bring a level of precision, technical depth, and computational reasoning that is essential for training advanced AI. This role allows you to bridge your academic expertise with cutting-edge LLM development—helping to create AI that understands, explains, and reasons about code and computer science like a human expert. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic and practical knowledge in computer science to help train AI that is safer, smarter, and better aligned with real-world technical use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate LLM outputs for correctness, coherence, and relevance in technical areas such as programming, algorithms, data science, software engineering, systems design, and theoretical computer science.

• Assess and annotate AI responses for logical consistency, technical accuracy, code quality, computational feasibility, and clarity.

• Develop and test prompts that challenge the model’s understanding of programming concepts, debugging scenarios, and algorithmic logic.

• Provide structured, technical feedback on AI-generated answers, including identifying subtle bugs, inefficient logic, or misleading explanations.

Eligibility Criteria:
