PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Execution of profit recovery activities for METRO entities. The activities include later income profit recovery, double invoice detections and clarification on open items. Furthermore, local colleagues are being trained on the topic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Checking the later income statements for all METRO countries for completeness and accuracy.
• Checking paid invoices for double payments
• Coordinating discovered additional claims with LI Accounting, the category managers and, if necessary, suppliers • Conducting training for local employees on profit recovery
• Creating audit memos according to established templates
• Creating monthly statistics
• Assisting in the creation of further profit recovery audit concepts outside of later income (open items, sales tax, deposits, double bookings, .)
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Data analytics and interpretation skills using Microsoft Office tools, WebBS, MD+
• Expertise in later income, accounts receivable / payable and open items processes
• Analytical skills in vendor contracts compliance, especially identifying discrepancies in agreed pricing, volume discounts, or service level agreements

About the Role:

This position is primarily located at Northern Hospital Epping; however, it may necessitate flexibility to work at other program sites within the Northern Mental Health Division as required.

- Experience and good working knowledge of administrative processes, including data entry, document management, and scheduling within health care settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good understanding of confidentiality in managing data with in a health service environment.
- Demonstrated clerical experience and administrative skills, with ability to respond flexibly to a variety of tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience using the Victorian mental health statewide information system, such as iPM, CMI or other similar patient information systems.
- Advanced level Microsoft Teams, Office and computer skills, including accurate keyboard skills
