Must-Have:

18+ years of experience in manufacturing / plant operations in Oil&gas industry as a business consultant

• Functional experience in one or more of plant operations, manufacturing/shop floor execution, supply chain, procurement, warehouse management and related processes with emphasis on digital and intelligent technologies.

• Implementation experience of manufacturing operation projects.

• Experience working with business teams to engage in strategic, growth and transformational topics.

• Must have deep understanding of IoT / Industry 4.0 / plant solutions.

• Must have worked/ or have a good understanding of areas such as Supply chain, Quality, EHS.

• Worked across industries & partner products.

• Prior experience in engaging with CX level

• Good understanding of key digital technologies, like IoT, AI/ML, AR-VR etc.

• A good understanding of technology trends, market forces and industry imperatives

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Execute digital consulting strategies for IoT & Digital Engineering operations in the Oil&gas industry.
• Nurture and maintain a “best in class” positioning of the advisory unit by developing contemporary assets and frameworks and deploying skills in the context of the customer
• Deep understanding of the latest technology trends and leading products for plant services and solutions
• Develop thought leadership assets, articulate / envision the Future Factory
• Actively participate in leading industry events and forums and be recognized as a thought leader.
• Work closely with sales/ presales teams to lead client connects for consulting proposals and strategic large-scale transformation programs.
• Ensure execution excellence of all advisory engagements by leveraging best practices/ assets across projects/ programs.
• Drive growth through advisory engagements and downstream engagements.

• Developing and managing comprehensive project plans.
• Overseeing project execution from initiation to closure.
• Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Strong knowledge of P&ID development and HAZOP analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., API).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Oversee and manage oil and gas field operations, including drilling and production.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Optimize well performance and production rates.
• Analyze production data and generate performance reports.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with geological and reservoir engineering teams.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of oil and gas wells, identifying any deviations from expected production.
• Diagnose production problems (e.g., paraffin buildup, scaling, water production) and implement effective solutions.
• Optimize well performance through adjustments to artificial lift systems, choke settings, and injection rates.
• Develop and implement well intervention and workover plans.
• Ensure all production operations are conducted safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to understand reservoir characteristics and optimize recovery strategies.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment for potential application in field operations.
• Prepare technical reports on well performance, production forecasts, and operational recommendations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field operators and technicians.

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in oil and gas production engineering or field operations.
• Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, wellbore mechanics, and production optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in production software and data analysis tools relevant to the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field.
• Willingness to travel regularly to field locations.
• Experience with artificial lift systems (e.g., ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift) is required.

• Design, develop, and optimize oil and gas processing facilities and systems.
• Perform process simulations and calculations to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Specify process equipment, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators.
• Develop PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support to plant personnel.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and operations teams.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, CHEMCAD).
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer principles.
• Knowledge of upstream, midstream, or downstream processing operations.
• Familiarity with process safety management (PSM) and hazard analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with project engineering and capital projects is a plus.
