  • KEY PURPOSE
  • This role will be responsible for South & East logistics and distribution management for India business – which will entail warehousing management, last mile delivery to final customers and cost saving initiatives.

    This role will be required to coordinate with planning team, manufacturing plants, logistics partners, customers and sales organization and to build and deploy logistics and distribution strategy to support high levels of customers service / responsiveness at lowest possible cost.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and deploy distribution strategy (route to market) including transportation, warehousing and last mile delivery to support distribution growth.
  • Manage logistics from supply plants (3-5 in numbers) to distribution centers across the country (8-10 in numbers)

  • Use advanced methodologies for operational planning that optimizes Supply Chain Operations` assets to achieve strategic and tactical deliverables.
  • Responsible for managing performance of all service providers through contracts / service level agreements, monitoring and operations reviews.
