About the team
The team manages External fulfilment channels for Amazon India. The team is responsible for performance, cost, quality and speed metrics. The team is structured regionally as well has a central team of Program Managers who drive critical initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in relevant field
Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or fulfillment operations

Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of Area Managers (AMs) and Operations Executives (OEs) across the region to ensure operational excellence and achievement of key performance metrics
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience
3. Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed performance targets for key metrics including SPEED, SCRR, Handover, and Audit Adherence
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Central Support Team (CST), Transportation, Network Operations Center (NOC), and business teams to resolve escalations and implement process improvements
5. Manage contingency planning and execution during peak periods, holidays, and unexpected events
6. Conduct regular business reviews (WBRs/MBRs/QBRs) to analyze performance data and implement corrective actions
7. Mentor and develop Area Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline
8. Drive seller/vendor compliance with Amazon's operational standards through regular audits and performance management
