Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reservoir characterization and performance analysis.
  • Develop and optimize field development plans and production strategies.
  • Conduct material balance calculations and well test analysis.
  • Build, calibrate, and run dynamic reservoir simulation models.
  • Forecast production and estimate reserves using appropriate methodologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend drilling, completion, and workover strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and other production optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, geophysicists, and drilling engineers.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in reservoir engineering technologies and practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, PETREL RE, CMG).
  • Strong understanding of reservoir physics, fluid flow, and thermodynamics.
  • Experience with well test analysis and production data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
