We have an urgent requirement for the position of Assistant Operations Manager – Mobile Repair Operations. Please find below the brief details of the requirement for your sourcing support:

Position: Assistant Operations Manager- 1 No

Salary- 6-8 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

Manage day-to-day operations to ensure seamless execution across all functional teams.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency.
Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvement strategies.
Workflow Optimization

Identify inefficiencies in current processes and lead initiatives for automation, lean practices, or workflow redesign.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve turnaround time.
Resource & Capacity Management

Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and other resources to meet operational demands.
Forecast workload and ensure resource availability to avoid bottlenecks.
Quality & Compliance

Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain service excellence.
Enforce workplace safety measures and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting & Analysis

Generate and present reports on operational performance, resource utilization, cost efficiency, and risk areas.
Provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage departmental teams to foster a high-performance culture.
Conduct regular team reviews, set performance goals, and support professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma Or BE /B Tech in Electronics.
Experience in handling high-volume mobile repair & refurbishment operations.
Having good experience in mobile parts sourcing
5–8 years of experience in multi-brand mobile repair operations or service delivery management
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in operations management tools, ERP systems, and reporting dashboards.
Preferred Skills:

Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification.
Experience in managing high-volume operations.
Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations relevant to the industry.

**Assistant Manager - Operations & Maintenance (India)**
**Job Description**
This key role will be responsible to manage and supervise the on-site activities related to machines working to perform railway track construction, and rail grinding projects and operations-particularly involving track machines ensuring timely execution, technical compliance, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role will be based across multiple machine work locations pan-India.
**Key Responsibilities** **:**
+ Supervise and monitor the operation, deployment, and maintenance of track machines at the site.
+ Ensure all site activities comply with project plans, engineering standards, and safety procedures.
+ Read and understand contractual obligations clearly. Prepare strong correspondence with customers on contractual matters relating to O&M.
+ Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and vendors for timely execution of work.
+ Maintain and organize all project documentation including drawings, reports, approvals, and technical correspondences.
+ Ensure preventive and scheduled maintenance of machines is carried out as per guidelines, with proper records maintained.
+ Identify, assess, and resolve on-site technical issues promptly in coordination with engineering teams.
+ Monitor site safety compliance and support implementation of safety protocols.
+ Track and report project progress through regular updates and progress reports to management.
+ Ensure compliance with railway industry protocols and procedures at all project stages.
+ Travel to various project sites as required for supervision, audits, and support
**Team Management:**
+ Supervise technicians, operators, and contract manpower in shifts.
+ Provide technical guidance and training to site staff.
+ Ensure manpower allocation as per contract and workload.
**Documentation & Reporting:**
+ Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on O&M activities, breakdown root-cause analysis, and performance KPIs, cost-tracking.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Projects, SCM, Quality, and Safety.
**Qualifications**
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred)
+ 08-10 years of experience projects/operations in Railway & Metro Industries.
+ Familiarity with mechanical systems like gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic systems, and electrical panels.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and site team leadership abilities.

You will lead the electrical maintenance team, manage CAPEX and operational activities, and drive plant optimization initiatives.
**Reliability & Maintenance**
+ You will lead all electrical reliability activities within the BTC area.
+ You will implement and monitor strategic countermeasures to reduce recurring breakdowns.
+ You will analyze and troubleshoot breakdowns in Tire Building Machines to enhance system performance.
+ You will conduct preventive and predictive maintenance for electrical systems and equipment.
+ You will control and reduce spillage, leakages, and unnecessary consumption of maintenance materials (oil, grease, cotton waste, spare parts).
+ You will develop contingency spare parts to ensure long-term sustainability.
+ You will lead the upgrade of absolute systems for reliability enhancement.
+ You will execute site improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
**Operational Leadership**
+ You will manage the electrical maintenance team across shifts, ensuring operational readiness and performance.
+ You will collaborate with the Business Team and actively contribute to High Performance Team (HPT) projects.
+ You will manage CAPEX and operational activities related to electrical maintenance in BTC.
**Plant Optimization**
+ You will champion the RE/WPO pillar under the Plant Optimization strategy.
+ You will work cross-functionally to align maintenance strategies with broader plant performance goals.
