Primary Skill:

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, is responsible for designing, developing visually compelling and engaging reports that drive business decisions.
• Works remotely across time zones, this role leads technical efforts to build data pipelines, gather requirements and work with executive stakeholders.
• The role calls for strong communication skills-oral, visual and written.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product, Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and define hypotheses.

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable data models and data pipelines.

• Lead design, development and maintainence of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Develop, implement and optimize dashboards/reports using BI tools(Tableau, PowerBI)

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and other deliverables.

• Mentor to early in career and junior engineers while fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Work closely with Product Manager, Data Engineering, and data science team to develop integrated and advanced analytical solution which powers business decision.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Bl solutions on AWS, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting dashboards.
• Should have 3-5 years of experience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand Bl requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assisting in develop and maintain ETLprocesses to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into AWS servicessuch as S3, Redshift, or RDS.
• Design and implement scalable data models optimized for reporting and analytics needs.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation, transformation, and

Qualifications

• Must Have: SQL, Cloud-AWS/Azure/GCP, BI Tools like Qlik
• Must Have: Insurance Industry expertise will be preferred. especially in motor or commercial insurance.
