To enhance our coverage, we are presently looking for a motivated corporate reporter to join the Startup team based in Bengaluru.
- Should have been a corporate reporter for 5-7 years previously in a newsroom.
- You will be expected to deeply cover new-age companies (public and private).
- Should have a keen interest in technology and how it intersects with other spheres of life.
- Be able to form connects and networks to be on the inside track of the technology and startup ecosystem.
- Be a multi-media reporter and deliver stories for digital, print, videos, EdTech newsletters, under tight deadlines.
- Be able to break news, exclusives along with writing long-form and analysis pieces.
Education and Experience Required : -
- Educational Qualifications: Graduation degree in any discipline preferably in English with degree or diploma in journalism/mass communication

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in reporting, preferably with a focus on education or social development.
- Proven track record of published articles in reputable publications.
- Excellent command of English — both written and spoken.
- Strong news sense and the ability to simplify complex policy matters for a general audience.
- Familiarity with Mumbai’s educational landscape is a significant advantage.
Desirable Skills:
