Position- Research Engineer (Servo-hydraulic systems)

Qualification- BE (Mechanical)

Job Location- Chakan

Job Description-

• Experience in handling Servo-hydraulic & pneumatic test systems, test components to fixture adaptations with actuators, etc.
• PID tuning as per various test requirements.
• Perform tests setup with the identified constraints, Test execution and report preparation
• Hands-on experience of test setups for laboratory structural performance and durability tests
• Co - ordination with internal teams to obtain the certification / approvals within timelines.
• Hands-on Experience in assembly, disassembly, Adaptations and repair/maintenance for different automobile systems
• To maintain laboratory systems for various accreditations and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IS0 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 17025 NABL etc.)

Requirements:

• 1-3 yrs of experience in Servo-hydraulic system integration comprising of hydraulic actuators, servo-valves, load cells, LVDTS etc.
• Maintaining records for calibration (NABL and other in-house) of all assets, inventory management of assets
• In-depth knowledge of various transducers like accelerometer, strain gauges, pressure sensors, load sensors, LVDT, Extensometers etc. its usage and calibration
• Well conversant with Data acquisition system and Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA)
• Capable of handling pneumatic actuators with PLC controller to achieve required automation
• Capable of finding root cause and providing solution to various issues related to instrumentation systems
• Procurement activity of (Preparing Technical specification, finding suitable Supplier, Checking feasibility etc.) as per requirement
• Should have good communication and presentation skills.

Experience- 1 to 3 years

We are seeking a skilled Fluid Mechanics engineer to drive innovation and enhance our well performance across global assets. The role involves a combination of technical, analytical, and project management responsibilities to drive innovation and efficiency in upstream oil and gas operations and carbon capture and storage (CCS).

• Build computational models and simulations using proprietary and vendor tools to enhance design and operational practices and address evolving business needs.
• Design, build and execute parametric studies using simulation models to provide engineering design recommendations for business decisions. Conduct research and development on new technologies, methods, or best practices.
• Work with wells engineers, drilling and completion experts, computational and data scientists, and laboratory scientists across the globe to enhance understanding of subsurface technologies and tools.
• Create tutorials, documentation, training material or case studies. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor other engineers to help build their technical competencies in fluid mechanics and multiphase modeling.

Skills and Qualifications

• Masters with thesis or PhD degree from a recognized university in petroleum/chemical/mechanical/ civil engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0.
• Up to 3 years of research (academic/industry) experience in flow modeling and simulation in solving business problems.
• Strong Fluid Mechanics and Computation Fluid Dynamics fundamentals and experience with Numerical Methods and Engineering Applications such as Ansys Fluent, STAR-CCM+, Open FOAM, Olga for solving Computational Fluid Dynamics or flow analysis problems

• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization in any programming language (preferably Python or MATLAB) for analyzing experimental, simulation or sensor data.
• Experience in working with problems related to multiphase flow modeling is preferred.
• Experience in data science (e.g., machine learning, optimization) will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication and leadership skills are essential.

Signal Processing w
ill be responsible for conducting research and development, developing signal processing algorithms for detection, classification, radar signal processing, and emitter tracking in contested environments.

Building adaptive and wideband processing chains to handle complex spectrum dynamics. Exploring compressive sensing, time-frequency analysis, and robust geolocation techniques. Collaborates with physics researchers to incorporate new forms of signal observables into detection logic. Refines algorithms through iterative testing and validation against experimental datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, or a related field
