- Interacting with prospective/existing clients and help with identifying new business opportunities by providing solutions to their business problems.
- Assist in driving continuous innovation and leverage new techniques and technologies into the field of qualitative research.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Master’s Degree desirable; relevant Degree in sociology, anthropology, psychology or business is desirable
- Having at least 3-5 years of experience working in Primary Qualitative Market Research, managing end-to-end projects, with minimal supervision.
- Diverse practical experience in different qualitative research methods (e.g. focus groups, ethnography, in-depth/expert interviews, grounded theory, projective techniques, etc.)
- Strong research discipline and exposure, with the ability to synergize both quantitative and qualitative research
- Experienced in helping to manage a team
- Excellent client management and relationship building skills and ability to converse with mid-level stakeholders in client organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint and Google Spreadsheet & Slides.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Role Objective
- The Associate Manager - Methodological Research works closely with the AVP – Methodological Research on projects related to research on audience measurement.
- The scope of the role is to monitor, develop and advance the methodology supporting all syndicated products as well as working closely with Sample Design, Sample Control, Technology and Product Leadership staff on the methodological design of new products.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the members of Measurement Science team to apply advanced quantitative methods, including statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis, to research projects, including syndicated and new products.
- Provide technical assessments, strategic guidance, and execution recommendations for designated research projects, utilizing statistical techniques such as ANOVA, time series analysis, and multivariate analysis.
- Develop and manage methodological documentation and information, ensuring the use of robust statistical methodologies.
- Establish best practices for audience estimation methodologies, incorporating statistical sampling, weighting, and error estimation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop critical research solutions and methodologies addressing key business issues, leveraging statistical tools like R, SAS, and Python.
- Design and execute analytics for both large and small projects, employing statistical techniques to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex data-related problems, using statistical inference and predictive modeling.
- Be comfortable working with large datasets, performing data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis.
- Utilize machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks to improve data validation systems, integrating statistical methods for model evaluation and validation
Job Specifications
Minimum Education -
- Master's degree in data science/Statistics/Business Administration from tier 1 institute with a focus on quantitative research methods
Minimum/Relevant Experience -
- 4 years of experience in analytics/data science using Python
Past Industry / Company Experience -
- Industry agnostic but with preference to Research / Analytics industry at large
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of descriptive statistics and intermediate knowledge of inferential statistics
- Should be expert of statistical computer packages on Python such as SciPy, Math, NumPy, Pandas, Stat models
