Planning technology personnel resources across all projects and work efforts globally. By implementing effective capacity planning and proactive resource identification and allocation, the role aims to enhance the likelihood of meeting project schedules and budgets, reducing impact of delays. - Support the processes by providing accurate resource availability data for the short- to medium-term, assisting in the evaluation and acceptance of new work within the Technology department.
- Assign teams and personnel, down to the developer/engineer level, across project-level, work package-level, and individual task-level to help the Project Manager and Project Engineering Coordinator meet key milestones and deadlines.

- Oversee the Earned Value Management (EVM) process for monitoring and reporting on Technology Programs and Projects.
Ensure the Technology Portfolio of Record (PoR) is accurately maintained and serve as the PoR champion.
Planning and Decision Making:
High-priority projects require input from all R&D software teams at varying levels. Currently, each department manager handles their team’s contributions, resulting in separate Points of Contact for the Project Manager, Project Engineering Coordinator. This fragmented approach leads to significant management overhead, inefficiencies, and an increased risk of errors, all contributing to higher business costs.
Each Department Manager spends an estimated 1-2 days per week (8-16 hours) coordinating these efforts, which adds up to 1-2 full working weeks per week across the teams. Additionally, inefficient allocation of just 1% of the R&D resources per day incurs an estimated hidden cost, with the actual cost likely being much higher.
Delays that damage our reputation as well as delaying our roadmap and ability to optimize revenue as we cannot keep our commitments due to the constant shift of resources by lack of insight and oversight
Key Internal and External Relationships:
- Technology leaders
- Program leaders
- Industry Directors
- CoE / Manufacturing Plant Functional leads and staff
