Role & responsibilities
Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company SOPs and visual merchandising standards.
- Coordinate with store managers to ensure staffing, scheduling, and store readiness.
- Monitor store inventory levels and facilitate timely stock replenishment and transfers.
- Drive adherence to operational checklists, opening/closing procedures, and in-store customer experience protocols.
Sales & Performance Monitoring:
- Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and KPIs for each store.

- Support store teams in meeting targets through training and operational excellence.
Team Management & Training:

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Liaise with warehouse and supply chain teams for timely deliveries and returns.

- Ensure accurate stock records using POS and inventory management systems.
- Be well versed with the store retail system and transactions like GRN,catalogue creation,stock in/out etc.
Customer Experience:
- Maintain high standards of customer service across all stores.
- Handle escalated customer issues in collaboration with store teams.
- Ensure the implementation of promotional campaigns and in-store events.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all stores adhere to legal, safety, and company regulations.
- Generate and analyze operational reports (sales, footfall, conversion, etc.).
- Recommend process improvements and operational enhancements.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience & Background:
- 24 years of experience in retail operations, preferably with 1+ year in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Proven experience in managing or supporting daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Experience in multi-store management or supporting area managers (a plus).
- Familiarity with retail management systems (POS, ERP, inventory software).
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- Additional certifications in retail operations, customer service, or team management are an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
