Role Description

Daily tasks include greeting customers, helping them with product choices, managing sales transactions, and ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and organized.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a seasoned SAP professional with deep expertise in SAP Retail, Contract Management, and Business Partner Management.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations, system configuration, integration, and support, with a strong understanding of ALE/EDI technologies and IDoc processing. Key Responsibilities: Implementation Support •
- Lead implementation and support of SAP Retail modules, focusing on Contracting and Business Partner Management. •
- Configure, customize, and troubleshoot SAP MM and Retail processes to meet business requirements. Requirements Gathering System Design • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. •
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system designs. •
- Design and maintain SAP MM configurations aligned with retail business processes. Testing Troubleshooting • Conduct system testing including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT). •
- Identify and resolve issues related to SAP MM and Retail functionalities. Documentation • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including business process flows, configuration guides, and technical specifications. Integration •
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP Retail with other SAP modules such as SD, FI, and PP. Contract Management Expertise •
- Deep understanding of contract management processes and requirements within SAP Retail. Business Partner Management •
- Expertise in SAP Business Partner concept, replacing traditional customer/vendor master data structures. •
- Manage customer and vendor data using Business Partner roles (e.g., customer, supplier, contact person). •
- Implement and support Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI), including mapping, customizing, and using the CVI cockpit for data synchronization. SAP ALE/EDI Expertise •
- Strong knowledge of SAP ALE/EDI technologies, IDoc types, partner profiles, and distribution models. •
- Monitor and troubleshoot IDoc processing using transactions like WE02, WE05, SM58, BD87. •
- Develop and customize IDoc interfaces for SAP and non-SAP systems. •
- Proficient in inbound and outbound IDoc configuration and troubleshooting. Collaboration •
- Work closely with business users and cross-functional technical teams to deliver integrated solutions. •
- Ensure successful implementation and post-go-live support. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. •
- 12–15 years of hands-on experience in SAP Retail (Contract Management Business partner management process) •
- Proven track record in full lifecycle SAP implementations. •
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
