Responsibilities/ Skillsets :
- Prepare and/ or review railway geometric design criteria.
- Prepare and/or review trackwork design criteria and implication on civil works.
- Define site arrangement and track layout at stabling yards, depots and stations.
- Coordinate with rolling stock and equipment specialists to define size and layout of facilities in depots and stations.
- Prepare plan/ profile of for the rail line, considering site constraints such as utilities.
- Coordinate railway systems and traction requirements and impacts on civil works.
- Prepare and maintain a risk register.
- Coordinate with specialists regarding stray current protection.
- Hands-on experience in design of rail projects from concept design till Detailed Design and IFC.
Requirements :
- Minimum 8-14 years of experience in Rail Transportation or related fields, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry dynamics and practices.
- Knowledge of MicroStation is must.
- Experience in high-speed rail is added advantage.
- Must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru and to undertake travel for project assignments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering & M.E/MTech. in Transportation Engineering
