Job Description

RPA Solution Architect

• The RPA architect will identify opportunities in existing customer business processes to architect and design RPA frameworks/technology using UiPath.
• The architect will function as an integrator between the business and technology to create solutions for customers based on business requirements.
• This role will provide technical leadership and guidance for RPA developers and other resources during project delivery.

Objective:

• Design, develop, and deploy RPA technology solutions using UiPath that will interact with customer systems to automate business processes.

Role:

• Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and provide solution
• Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
• Perform detailed estimations towards the finalized in-scope processes planned under development sprints
• Support pre-sales activities and provide technical solutions, effort estimation, and delivery strategy
• Assist sales team as needed to provide customer technical win by acting as technical advisor to customers
• Lead a team of developers through project completion
• Define complexity of the process in terms of Robotic Process Automation delivery
• Develop detailed SDD (Solution Design Document)
• Deliver demos, technical training, and support for new/existing customers
• Grow and identify RPA sales opportunities within assigned accounts
• Work with customers to build RPA Center of Excellence (COE) to drive automation pipeline, but not limited to ROI analysis, best practices, and RPA program/project management

Required skills:

• Candidate must have 10+ years of overall experience out of which a minimum of 6 years of experience as a UiPath Developer and 8 years as a Solution Architect
• To be proficient with the following UiPath products - UiPath Studio & Studio Web, Orchestrator, Agentic AI, UiPath Apps, AI Centre & Document Understanding, Integration Service, Automation Hub, Process Mining, and Task Mining
• Extensive experience in customer-facing roles, gathering business requirements, and designing solutions
• Architecting enterprise level applications involving multiple systems, sub-systems, and ERP applications
• Experience with customer interaction and software development lifecycle, as well as Agile project management methodology
• Certifications with RPA platforms UiPath
• Programming languages: Knowledge of SQL, Java, Python preferred

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in process automation
• Advanced RPA certifications in UiPath
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Solution Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in RPA development and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and low code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, OutSystems, Mendix).
• Good understanding of MS Azure Cloud
• Extensive hands-on experience with leading RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying RPA solutions in a production environment.
• Experience with low code/no code platforms like Microsoft Power Apps, OutSystems, Mendix, Appian, etc.
• Ability to design and implement applications using these platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, VBScript) for automation.
• Experience integrating RPA and low code solutions with existing enterprise systems and applications.
• Knowledge of APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience deploying automation solutions in cloud environments.
• Experience managing end-to-end automation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Strong background in analyzing and mapping business processes.
• Ability to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with various stakeholders, including business analysts, process owners, and IT teams.
• Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for stakeholders.
• Experience with low code/no code platforms, with at least 3+ years in a related role.
• Experience leading a team of developers or automation specialists.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Understanding of industry-specific challenges and how automation can address them.
• Experience working in industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional, Blue Prism Developer).
• Certifications in low code/no code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Certification, OutSystems Professional Developer).
• Proven experience in project management, including Agile methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in the entire RPA lifecycle, including requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience in assessing business processes to identify automation opportunities and designing efficient RPA solutions.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying RPA solutions using industry-leading tools.

Preferred candidate profile share profiles to

1. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities, and provide expert guidance on RPA best practices.
2. Translate complex business requirements into robust RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere A360 tool, from process design to deployment
3. Evaluate existing processes and systems to determine their suitability for automation and propose process improvements.
4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them through the architecture, development, and deployment phases
5. Stay up to date with the latest AA A360 developments, RPA trends, and emerging technologies, and drive their adoption within the organization.
6. Develop the technical solution and Solution Design Document for the RPA Automation.
7. Design technical specifications for RPA that meets the requirements and handle all the non-functional requirements of concurrency, scalability, security requirements, restart and recovery.
8. Assist development and support teams to resolve technical, functional and non-functional issues.
9. Ensure design quality and code quality by performing design reviews and code reviews for all the automations
10. Assist infra team in defining infra requirements for any new automation and debug infra issues.
11. Should have experience in implementing A360 features like Workload management, Document automation/Co-pilot / bot insights
12. Should have SQL query knowledge
13. Should have knowledge on any programming language like VBA, Java script, python
14. Communication should be good and able to manage multiple stakeholders
15. Should have A360 Advanced certified, and Master certified
