Responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conducting routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Executing repairs on engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and software to interpret sensor data and troubleshoot complex problems.
- Replacing worn or faulty parts with genuine or high-quality aftermarket components.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during repair and maintenance operations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Collaborating with service advisors to explain diagnostic findings and repair recommendations to customers.
- Staying updated with the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and manufacturer specifications.
- Mentoring junior technicians and providing guidance on complex repairs.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing modern vehicle systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with diagnostic software and scan tools.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and service advisors.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology preferred.
