**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Should be able to provide training to all the employees of IFM and its sub-contractors as per Ford's Environmental, Health & Safety requirements.
+ Should be able to establish, enforce, educate, supervise, and direct all personnel (under the IFM contract) requirements of the policies, procedures, and site safety programs.
+ Should be able to audit all IFM activities / sub-contractors engaged by IFM / Ford.
+ Should be able to deliver safety audits and observe the unsafe act and conditions and report out the same.
+ Should be able to track and close all the internal safety observations.
+ Should be able to track and close all the ERT (Emergency response Team) observations and concerns.
+ All Safety mandatory trainings refreshers should be done periodically.
+ PTA (Pre-Task Analysis) audits should be done.
+ Should be able to identify & close all Near miss.
+ Should ensure "Safe Work Permit" prior to start of activities like work at height, hot work, confined space entry, etc.
+ Detailed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Pre-Task Analysis (PTA) shall be prepared for all the critical activities that required to be executed after obtaining Safe Work Permits.
+ Review JSA & PTA for issue of "Work Permit" after ensuring all the safety measures considered for the intended activity.
+ Follow Energy Control & Power Lockout (ECPL) to lock the systems (Electrical or plumbing or pipelines or any stored energy) to ensure no energizing while attending the intended activities.
+ Any accident / injury that require first aid / treatment shall be referred immediately to the wellness center and reported to the IFM in-charge and subsequently Ford FM.
+ Should possess knowledge of applicable Regulatory requirements, guidelines and procedures.

We’re looking for experienced Safety Coordinators on our upcoming major civil infrastructure projects.
This is a FIFO role on a 2:1 roster out of Perth.

We're looking for a candidate with practical knowledge or familiarity with civil projects. Moreover, the chosen candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment for our onsite Civil Construction team. Responsibilities include overseeing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and fostering a culture of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure employees are undertaking safety-related activities as per requirements.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areas.
- Analyse site safety concerns and problems and recommend solutions to key personnel.
- Lead and run investigations of site incidents from end to end.
- Maintain knowledge of all Industry applicable rules and regulations including government regulations, standards and policies.
- Collaboration with Management in the development of project risk assessments.
- Assist with identifying, developing, conducting and improving health and safety training and orientation programs to educate project employees on health, safety and quality risks within the business.
- Attend and contribute to the scheduled Safety meetings within the group.
- Assist project personnel with Injury Management and RTW in consultation with the Group Workers Compensation Case Manager
- Facilitate internal training programs as required
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role in civil construction
- Strong communication and planning skills
- Experience in ICAM investigations
- Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
- Willingness / ability to work in remote locations as may be required
- Strong computer software skills including MS Office and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and data processing accuracy
- Australian Drivers license
- Cert IV in WHS/OHS (minimum)
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Internal Auditor Qualification
