**Key Responsibility Areas**:
Lead a team of 10+ field executives in a variety of roles; assess and ascertain team performance on basis of individual and group KPIs; deliver on success metrics on the basis of KRA defined and build a process driven and analysis oriented vertical.
- Operate as Vertical in-charge/ Account In-Charge and groom/manage and motivate team to deliver industry standard services with Customer First Approach._
**Client Relations and Handling**:
- Order fulfilment with Fleet Placement (Market & Own Fleet), DSR review, ETA Committment, Administrative and Allied Documentation for Transportation of Coal, Iron & Steel, Metals and Minerals, Cement, FMCG, Chemicals, Pellets, etc. in both Containerised and Non-Container Format (Land Transportation)
- Procurement of Orders from Customers and adding new verticals for transhipment of commodities (Specialised, Volumetric, Priority Transit)
- Clearance and Freight forwarding for Container Cargo
- Nepal based Customers including customs clearance.
- Timely and systematic billing, Invoice Generation, Follow up and realisation.
- Mitigation of issues related to Way-Bill, Consignment quality and weight, loading and unloading detention, border detention, Claims; in coordination with internal team and Customer nominated representatives.
- Mitigation of Transit & Placement issue relating to Own Fleet & Market Fleet.
- _Customer Focused apprach with Customer Success as a delivery metric._
**Business Development
- Customer**:
- Procurement of New orders from Existing Customers (Fleet Type, Cargo Type, Volume and Specialised)
- Exploring and converting new Customers based on value offering.
- Meeting with Customers, Requirement Analysis, Sales pitch, conversion and operational alignment
- Both India (Domestic Cargo) and Nepal (Cross Border)
- Exploration and operationalisation of new routes and destinations
- For both Land Based Cargo and Clearance & Forwarding (Container, Break-Bulk, ODC Cargo)
- Identification, Application and allied documentation for Tenders/RFPs/EOIs along with rate quotation and analysis.
- Participate in online bidding and rate negotiation with customers for business acquisition.
**Business Development
- Supplier**:
- Procure and attach new suppliers and brokers (Direct fleet operators preferable) for order fulfilment.
- Identify and analyse new routes, destinations, cargo, format etc. and identify suppliers for the same.
- Rate negotiation, terms of payment, credit cycle and background information for new Suppliers.
**Finance & Billing**
- Responsible for entire billing cycle of Key Accounts and Orders.
- Debtor Ageing & Outstanding Analysis and reporting.
- Mitigation of Billing and Invoicing related issues
- Both Customer and Administrative.
- Payment realisation and reconciliation of Outstanding.
- Mitigation of Claims and Damages related deductions.
- Manage, Operate and Mitigate Supplier side payments for attached market fleet to Orders.
- Creditor Ageing & Outstanding Analysis and reporting.
- Analysis of Business on variety of metrics (Sales, Volume, Profitability, ETA, Cost)
- Periodic, Historical and reporting.
**Key Skills (required)**:
- Experience in Working in ERP apart from Tally (Logics, SAP, Oracle, others)
- Good skills in MS Excel (V Look-up, Pivot Table, Charts, Formula building, etc.)
- Fluent in Verbal and written communication both English and Hindi.
- Capability to create and deliver presentations and business pitch to Customers for business acquisition.
- Fluent with presentation and reports drafting skills and presenting outcomes and analysis to core management.
- High aspiration and delivery oriented work approach is expected.
**Key Education**:
- Graduation (required)
- Master Or Certificate Course in Operations/ Supply Chain Management, MBA (Operations/ Supply Chain) (*Preferred)
- Additional knowledge of Operations/ Process Optimisation (Kaizen, 5S, Customer Success Metrics etc.) (*Preferred)
**Work Experience (required)**:
- 4-6 years with experience in Senior Key Account Manager Role and Logistics Industry (Must have experience with Land Transportation & Freight Forwarding based Company)
