Why this role exists
We are looking for a results-oriented Salon Sales Manager to drive revenue, manage salon operations, and lead teams across multiple branches. The role is critical in achieving business growth, ensuring excellent client experiences, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key responsibilities
· Oversee and manage daily salon operations, ensuring smooth workflow, service quality, and client satisfaction.
· Lead, guide, and motivate the salon team to achieve sales and performance targets.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers.
· Recruit, train, and manage qualified salon professionals according to company standards.
· Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
· Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing coaching and training to enhance productivity.
· Manage inventory, maintain stock levels, and oversee product ordering.
· Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols within the salon.
· Resolve client queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
· Plan and execute promotional campaigns and local marketing initiatives to boost business.
· Maintain accurate records of sales, billing, and operational metrics.
· Report daily, weekly, and monthly updates on salon performance to the Area Sales Manager and management team.
Outcomes and KPIs
· Achieve monthly and quarterly salon revenue targets.
· Increase client retention and membership renewal rates.
· Maintain high client satisfaction scores (CSAT > 90%).
· Reduce staff turnover and maintain optimal team performance.
· Ensure timely completion of inventory management and reporting tasks.
Day-to-day work
· Lead salon operations and staff, ensuring quality services and efficient workflow.
· Execute sales strategies and promotions to maximize revenue.
· Track performance metrics and implement improvements.
· Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on campaigns, offers, and events.
· Conduct training sessions and create “How-To” guides for staff.
Must-have skills
· Minimum 5 years of experience in salon management or sales management within beauty and wellness.
· Strong leadership and people management skills.
· Excellent client handling and communication abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-have skills
· Certification or degree in cosmetology, beauty management, or related field.
· Experience in multi-branch salon operations.
· Knowledge of salon management software (Zenoti or similar).
Ideal profile
· Experienced salon professional (5+ years) with a track record of sales and operations management.
