Summary

The SAP BW Consultant is responsible for leading and managing the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW solutions. This role involves overseeing projects, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs. SAP Skills

• 5 to 6 Years of experience of SAP BI/BW
• At least three full life cycle SAP BW implementation and at least 2 with BI 7.x
• Should be well versed with DB Connect, Flat File and interface
• Should have good experience in resolving Data Load Issues.
• SAP BW data modeling, design and development.
• Experience with BW administrator Workbench; BW Info Objects, ODS, Info Cubes, Info Packages, Info Sources, Design complex, customs BW solutions translating complex requirements in an optimal BW design.
• Deep and broad exposure and understanding of SAP Business Warehouse concepts

Role & responsibilities

• Require around 7 years experience in SAP BW.
• Involved in full life cycle implementations of BW, which includes Requirement gathering, Data modeling, Developing, Data extraction and Reporting.
• Extensively worked on designing/creating Info Objects, Info Sources, Transfer structures, Communication structures, Transformations, Info Cubes, Data Store Object (DSO) and SPOs.
• Having precise expertise in understanding the SAP ECC System and created dataflow to BW.
• Performed FI/CO full and delta extraction from ECC.
• Worked extensively on Query Designer in building Queries using Filters, Variables, Structures, Restricted Key Figures, Calculated Key Figures, Conditions, Exceptions and experienced in SAP Office Analysis.
• Knowledge On Open Hub Concept.
• Experience in Data loading, Monitoring and Scheduling using Process Chain.
• Having ability to communicate effectively at all levels of Application Development phases
• Strong bug fix and data analysis skills.
• Nice to have ABAP coding skills and experienced in ABAP program and routines in BW.
• Experienced in SAP BO Universe, Webl report and Publications.
• On call support

• Strong BW Data modelling (Creating BI Objects like InfoObjects, Data Store Objects (DSO), InfoCubes, Process Chains, Master Data Attributes, Multi-SAP BW System monitoring, process chain monitoring 
• Creating BEx queries using query designer, should have good experience in designing queries using structures, filters, exceptions, aggregations 
• Housekeeping activities 
• Ticket Resolution related to different modules in the project 
• Designing WEBI reports based on BEx queries 7.Should have knowledge of SAP BI 
• 4 and SAP BO 4.2 
• Should have experience of working on standard, custom extractors 
• Should be good in requirement gathering and problem solving 
• He/She should have good Communication Skills. Speaking Marathi Language will be added Advantage.
