Role Overview
The SAP Data and Analytics Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions within the SAP ecosystem. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that data architecture supports analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP COE and Solution Response : As architect work on building solution response for customer requirement and build industry specific solution using SAP platform. Responsible for building competency for niche/modern technology area like SAP BDC
- Architect SAP Data Solutions : Design end-to-end data architecture using SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Business data cloud.
- Presales: Client engagement, sales support, technical expertise in data integration and cloud solutions, and staying updated on SAP data innovations.
- Data Migration : Lead data migration efforts using SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit and Syniti/ Any 3rd party Tools.
- ETL & Integration : Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Analytics Enablement : Enable advanced analytics, dashboards, and KPIs using SAP Analytics Cloud and embedded analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics area with
- Strong expertise in SAP BW or BW/4HANA, SAP BDC, SAP Data Services, SAP HANA modelling, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Should experience in BW Migration to BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere / SAP BDC.
- Should have minimum 2 years of experience in presales function working as solution architect to build solutions for customer requirements including planning & estimation.
- Should have completed at least one BW/4HANA conversion project and one Datasphere /BDC implementation.
- Should have minimum two project experience in covering BW remediation (ECC & BW side) as part of S/4HANA conversion project.
- Should have experience in defining reporting strategy for SAP customer as part of S/4HANA transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL, ABAP (for data extraction), and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, master data management (MDM), and metadata tools.

Understand the Business Requirements and the corresponding data sets. Translate business requirements into working logical and physical Service Layer Data models. Create and maintain Logical Data Model (LDM) and Physical Data Model (PDM) applying best practices and providing business insights. Create and maintain the Source to Target Data Mapping document. Includes documentation of all entities, attributes, data relationships, primary and foreign key structures, allowed values, codes, business rules, glossary terms, etc. Gather and Publish Data Dictionaries: Maintain data models and capture data models from existing databases and record descriptive information. Build data warehouse & data marts (on Cloud) while performing data profiling and quality analysis. Use Version control to maintain versions of data models Design and develop data extraction and integration code modules. Work with the Data Engineers to define the Ingestion logic, ingestion frequency and data consumption patternsRequirements Required Experience, Skills & Competencies: Strong experience in one or more RDBMS systems (such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) Good understanding of Star schema, Snowflake schema, Data Vault Modelling Good experience in OLTP and OLAP systems Excellent Data Analysis skills Good Experience on one or more Cloud DW (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse) Experience on one or more cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of DevOps process Hands-on experience in any Data Modelling Tool Good understanding of one or more ETL tool Excellent Communication skills Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration & Modeling Specialist with hands-on experience in developing common metamodels, defining integration specifications, and working with semantic web technologies and various data formats. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to support enterprise-level data integration and standardization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop common metamodels by integrating requirements across diverse systems and organizations.
Define integration specifications, establish data standards, and develop logical and physical data models.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data architectures with organizational needs and industry best practices.
Implement and govern semantic data solutions using RDF and SPARQL.
Perform data transformations and scripting using TCL, Python, and Java.
Work with multiple data formats including FRL, VRL, HRL, XML, and JSON to support integration and processing pipelines.
Document technical specifications and provide guidance on data standards and modeling best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience (within the last 8 years) in developing common metamodels, preferably using NIEM standards.
