Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Hands on experience as Lead with executing and delivering 2 or more full life cycle SAP S/4HANA Data Migration & MDG implementation project.
• Expertise in Implementation of SAP Data Migration programs & MDG Solution for masters like Material, BP, etc.
• Design and develop custom solutions using SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) programming language to meet business requirements.
• Strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP programming language and familiarity with SAP development tools such as SAP NetWeaver, and SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance).
• Experience in designing and developing custom solutions using SAP technologies, including SAP Enhancement Framework, SAP BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface), SAP IDoc (Intermediate Document), and SAP User Exits.
• Solid understanding of SAP data structures, data migration, and data integration techniques.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 for developing modern and user-friendly SAP applications.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP and non-SAP systems using middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) or SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing system configurations, change management, and incident management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and propose effective solutions.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Excellent knowledge of the Data Migration & MDG modules combined with a good understanding of associated business processes in connected S4 HANA system.
• Participate in SAP Data Migration & MDG implementations and develop master data maintenance solutions using the latest technology and tools.
• Hands on Development of Master Data WRICEF Developments + All MDGIMG related Configurations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Migrate Legacy data to SAP ERP using SAP best practices and data migration techniques.

- Support the team on data migration and SAP Data Services.

- Design ETL Jobs to extract, cleanse, validate and transform data from SAP and non-SAP data sources.

- Create and execute load programs to load data in SAP ECC from SAP Data Services using IDoc, BAPI & LSMW.

- Performance tuning of data services jobs to achieve maximum performance.

- Analyze data and ETL processes to ensure business needs are meet.

- Develop data quality routines using data services to cleanse, match and de-duplication of data.

- Develop appropriate system documentation and assist in developing end user documentation for implemented solutions

- Report to the manager of current project status using standard internal reporting methods.

Experience and Knowledge :

- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

- 8+ Years previous work experience in similar role.

- 8+ years of experience with SAP Data Services – including experience with data cleansing, data profiling, data transformations and necessary test plans to ensure successful execution of data loading process.

- Working knowledge on SAP LSMW, IDoc, BAPI or other SAP Data migration technologies.

- Experience with data analysis and data processing using Microsoft SQL.

- Strong functional, communication and organization skills, with a proven ability to effectively meet deadlines and milestones as well as provide timely updates.

• Analyze source system data and prepare for migration.
• Define migration strategy, timelines, and scope.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using SAP tools like LSMW , SAP Data Services , or custom scripts.
• Map data between legacy systems and SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI).
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve data-related challenges.
• Create and execute test cases for data migration activities including validation and reconciliation.
• Provide post-migration support and troubleshoot data issues.
• Document migration procedures and maintain migration-related artifacts.

• Strong experience with SAP data migration tools (e.g., LSMW, SAP Data Services)
• Understanding of SAP data models and business processes (preferably MM, SD, FI modules)
• Proficient in SQL and ETL concepts
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
