Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced FICO person to head the SAP FICO team. The ideal candidate will have Experience of at least 15 years in Configuring, implementing and supporting SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) modules with strong accounting, finance & Costing knowledge. This includes proficiency in Finance modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Controlling modules such as Cost Centre Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Standard Cost , Costing Profitability Analysis & Material Ledger with Actual Costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team of professionals in Finance and Controlling Module of SAP S/4 HNA to define and oversee SAP FI/CO strategy aligned with business.
• Act as Finance IT liaison with Other Business Units, key Stakeholders and the IS team.
• Ensure Standardization of Finance and Controlling Process across entities.
• Drive automation and real time reporting enabled by SAP S/4 HANA Capabilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and within IS team for Master data quality and governance.
• Lead and support SAP projects including Change management, Data Migration and training activities.
• Evaluate and Implement new SAP functionalities.
• Ensure that the system design meets internal / external audit requirements and Tax Compliance needs.
• Oversee day-to- day FI/CO functions and support team on incidents, enhancements and upgrades.
• Support organization on designing and validating the financial and management reports.
• Mentor and train team members, providing guidance and support on best practices and technical challenges.
• Support the team from skill development and upskilling.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBA in Finance / CMA
• Certification in FI / CO Module
• 15-20 years of experience with Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA -FICO modules, including FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling).
• Experience in implementing, configuring, testing, and supporting SAP FICO systems with an in-depth understanding on integration with other modules like Sales & Distribution, Production Planning & Materials Management and its impact on the FICO Module
• Strong knowledge in areas like GL, A/P, A/R, Asset Accounting, Investment management

Technical Proficiency:

• SAP certification in Finance and Controlling Module.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori Applications in FI/CO.
• SAP central finance and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Knowledge on various integration tools / Interfaces with 3rd party Apps (Banking and Tax Engines)
• Knowledge on GST and other Statutory requirements.
• Complete understanding on Costing structures / Models in SAP S/4 HANA.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the solution design, configuration, testing and maintenance of the SAP FI/CO modules in ECC 6.0, including providing SAP expertise in FI/CO area. Experience with S/4 migration projects preferred.
• Actively work with Business Resources to determine the technical solution that best meets the business requirements.
• Experience and knowledge of integration points of FI/CO modules and across other SAP modules.
• Responsible for Enhancements, projects as well as adhoc support to troubleshoot, investigate, analyze and solve production issues.
• Responsible for analyzing the impact changes will have on other internal/external business application systems.
• Responsible for developing all documentation related to system changes per SOX change control policies and procedures
• Review current finance and accounting business processes to determine where automation / improvements will drive efficiency. Identify process inefficiencies, recommend innovative uses of software functionality, design, implement solutions and train end-users.
• Support Experience is a must and able to handle individual tickets

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business (Finance), computer information systems or related field.
• 7+ years functional and technical experience with SAP FI/CO Module in ERP system, with analysis and design of business applications related to the FICO area including but not limited to: Fixed assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, product costing, PCA, CCA, interfaces to subsystems.
• Hands on experience in SAP RAR is a big plus
• Experience with S/4 HANA migrations
• Knowledge and experience with ABAP programming is a strong plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with planners, peers and executive leadership
• Previous experience in systems support activities, i.e. business to IT liaison
• Previous experience in defining system requirement and defining test scenarios
• Demonstrated high learning agility and strong analytical skills
