Job Description Summary The Medical Operations manager supports the TA Content Development Team on various operational aspects of assigned projects/activities. **Role Description:**
The Scientific Communications Operations Senior Manager is accountable for driving development, execution, and implementation of the strategic roadmap for Amgen's Global Scientific Communications Operations capability in India. Key areas of focus include process improvement, system enhancements, team leadership, change management, and training and delivery, with an emphasis on technology and innovation.
Reporting to the Global Scientific Communications Operations Director, this global position will deliver by building and cultivating strong relationships with key partners in a matrixed team environment, including the Scientific Communications leadership team, information systems and data & analytics partners, vendor support teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and the business user community.

+ Driving performance management activities for Scientific Communications, including standardization, optimization, quality, timely delivery of processes, platform technologies, and analytics solutions

Role Summary:

The Grants Associate will support the Research Management Office in facilitating the institute's extramural research funding portfolio. This includes providing administrative and coordination support across both pre-award and post-award stages of research grants, as well as managing research-related databases and online portals to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. The role involves close collaboration with researchers, finance teams, and external funders to ensure effective and compliant grant management.

Role Type: The appointment will be a fixed-term position for an initial period of 1 year, renewed annually based on performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Associate Director – Research Management, the Grants Associate will carry out the following responsibilities:

Pre-Award Support:

• Assist in identifying funding opportunities and disseminating them to relevant researchers.
• Coordinate timelines and documentation for proposal submissions, including providing comprehensive budget support, ensuring compliance with the institutional and agency requirements, and liaising with collaborators, where required.
• Responsible for managing institutional registrations on various agency portals, including international funding bodies, to enable seamless submission of grant applications.
• Maintain records of submitted proposals on the internal grants portal and track application outcomes.

Post-Award Support:

• Assist in grant activation for awarded projects, including documentation, funder communications, and budget revisions.
• Support project teams in preparing and submitting progress and financial reports as per funder requirements.
• Track grant expenditures against budgets in coordination with the finance team, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines.
• Maintain grant documentation on the internal grants portal and assist with responding to funder queries or compliance needs.

Institutional Grants & Information Management:

• Manage and regularly update research databases and dashboards on internal grants and research instrument portals.
• Work with IT and research support teams to ensure smooth functioning of online systems related to grants and research administration.
• Support data analysis and information management in response to requests from internal and external stakeholders. This includes compiling and analyzing data on grant submissions, application success rates, funding trends, and the quantum/type of funding secured by the institute, among other relevant metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:

• PhD in life sciences or any other branch of science
• 1–2 years of experience in grants administration, lab management or project management is desirable.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with online research management tools is a plus.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills. The ability to analyze, summarize and communicate information is essential.
• Initiative, enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Associate DevOps Engineer is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for consulting with internal clients about the software technology environment with medium complexity.

This role supports the translation of business requirements into technology terms and develops algorithms and programming code for software solutions.

The primary objective of the Senior Associate DevOps Engineer is to design, test, implement and maintain software code that enables computer systems to perform specific tasks and assists with determining how technology can be applied to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities:

Works closely with Platform Specialists to receive detailed business/user requirement specifications that identify the goals of the program.

Assists with the preparation of a technical requirements document, including systems and flowcharts that diagrammatically show how the information will flow through the computer and its peripheral or related equipment.

Analyzes business requirements and ensures that the designed solution meets those requirements.

Transforms the detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document that focuses on how to deliver the required functionality.

Supports with compiling detailed technical specifications based on their designs for developers or IT Programmers to implement.

Supports with converting a design into a complete information system. This includes acquiring and installing the systems environment, creating and testing databases, preparing test case procedures, preparing test files, coding, compiling, refining programs and performing test readiness review and procurement activities.

Supports with ensuring that throughout the development phase, the process is documented including the development procedures for application use and security.

Supports with examining any program errors in logic and data and make the necessary recommendations to correct the program as required and/or escalate the problem accordingly.

Works with the required teams to assist with the installation and deployment of the application.

Assists with the resolution of any problems identified in the integration and test phases.

Supports all the code sets and implementations that have been implemented in production in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the business.

Supports with writing and distributing the task descriptions in a production environment to operate and maintain the solution that has been designed and implemented.

Performs with any other related task as required.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.

Relevant DevOps certification preferred.

Relevant Agile related certification preferred.

Relevant certification of cloud platforms and services, for example (but not limited to) AWS, Azure, GCP.

Relevant certification of scripting and programming languages, for example (but not limited to) Bash, Python, Ruby.

Required experience:

Relevant experience within Software Development and Support.

Relevant experience deploying software solutions to clients in an outsourced or similar IT environment.

Relevant experience working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies.

Relevant programming/development experience including Agile processes such as SCRUM, KANBAN.

• Independently support onshore team in Expense Reconciliation process, in allocating Net Unbilled amount, mapping deal codes and in approval process for broken deals.
• Track Unbilled expense lots relating to a particular category and submit in the ORACLE system as per specified steps.
• Constant follow up with deal teams to gather project codes to be allocated to categorized expenses and closing before start of the next month cycle.
• Identify broken deals through internal system and update the Broken Deal Database and monitor meticulously the approval process.
• Continuous follow up, with information specification, to acquire the necessary approval for closing the broken deals.
• Preparing various internal reports / MIS as per standard specifications and practices.
• Expense reconciliation and allocation in the internal expense administration system.
• Adding users to the system based on department and updating other fields.
• Checking for errors in invoice and acting based on message display.
• Other Expense Reconciliation related tasks or ad hoc as assigned by client on this workflow.
