**Primary Responsibilities:**

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
+ CSM / PMP certification preferred or the equivalent
+ 3+ years of experience in a scrum master role
+ 3+ years of IT Project Management experience
+ Experience in leading and coaching teams, fostering collaboration and communication, and promoting a continuous learning mindset
+ Experience with managing Agile projects
+ Basic understanding of development environments, testing processes, deployment processes, and coding practices

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Scrum Master & Agile Coach to drive agile transformation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within our technology teams. This role is pivotal in facilitating agile ceremonies, coaching development teams, and mentoring stakeholders on agile principles and practices. You will be instrumental in removing impediments, promoting self-organization, and ensuring the efficient delivery of value through agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks, with a proven ability to coach teams and drive organizational change. This is an on-site role, requiring active participation and collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor one or more agile teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Guide teams in adopting and adhering to agile principles, practices, and values.
  • Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress and productivity.
  • Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within development teams.
  • Coach individuals and stakeholders on agile concepts and best practices.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the development team, product owners, and stakeholders.
  • Track and report on team progress, velocity, and key agile metrics.
  • Champion continuous improvement by encouraging teams to inspect and adapt their processes.
  • Assist Product Owners in backlog management and refinement activities.
  • Contribute to the broader agile transformation initiatives within the organization.
  • Resolve conflicts and foster a positive team dynamic.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery commitments.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master with multiple teams, or significant experience as an Agile Coach.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum framework and agile methodologies (Kanban, XP, etc.).
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience in driving organizational agile transformations is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
