Key Responsibilities

Security Management

**Key responsibilities:**

+ Contributes and supports the development, implementation, and enforcement of security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect the data center, assets, and employees.
+ Coaches and guides Security teams by modelling professional conduct and adhering to security policies and safety regulations at the assigned work site.
+ Guides team members on how to fulfil the special / unique requirements for NTT GDC clients, and ensures requirements are met; includes maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, proper engagement, and establishing client relationships.
+ Remains alert and monitors security operations at all times during shift to ensure data center and surrounding property is secure and not accessed by unauthorized personnel, or open to sabotage, vandalism or theft.
+ Acts as the first point of contact during security incidents, assist with investigations, gather evidence, and prepare incident reports. This also includes collaborating with relevant stakeholders to resolve incidents effectively.
+ Administers the operation of all security related systems on shift, such as access control, CCTV, digital video recording, photo badging, etc.
+ Reviews utilization and maintenance of security equipment.
+ Organizes and conducts predefined actions in emergency situations and renders first aid, in events ranging from fire, work accidents, to illness.
+ Recommends improvements to recordkeeping software to capture accurate security officer activities.
**To thrive in this role, you need to have:**
+ Familiarity with security management, preferably in a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
+ Knowledge of physical security systems, access control, surveillance technologies, and incident response procedures.

+ CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
**Required experience:**
+ Prior solid Law-Enforcement and/or Military Schooling, a plus.

+ Prior solid relevant experience using security systems and tools, for example access control systems, CCTV etc.

**Your role and responsibilities**
· Design and implement Cisco-based network security architectures using technologies such as Cisco XDR, Hypershield, Secure Connect (SASE), and Secure Firewall.
· Develop Zero Trust security models using Cisco ISE, Duo, and Umbrella.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into multi-cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
· Utilize Splunk and Cisco SecureX for threat detection, response automation, and security analytics.
· Evaluate and incorporate emerging Cisco technologies to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
· Mentor and guide junior architects and network security engineers, sharing knowledge and driving best practices in the architecture and implementation of network security solutions.
· Engage with vendors, stakeholders, and third-party partners to evaluate new Cisco/OEM technologies and security solutions that can be leveraged to strengthen network defenses.
· Knowledge of the Cisco security posture of network infrastructure and potential AI tools
· Knowledge of different vulnerability assessments tools.
· Evaluate and implement emerging Cisco security solutions such as Cisco Multicloud Defense, Panoptica, Talos threat intelligence, and Secure Workload for micro-segmentation to strengthen hybrid cloud and AI-driven environments."
**Required technical and professional expertise**
· 5+ years of experience in network security architecture with a focus on Cisco technologies.
· Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Firewall, Cisco XDR, Cisco ISE, Duo, Umbrella, and Secure Connect (SASE).
· Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and cloud-native security.
· Experience with Splunk and Cisco SecureX for security operations and automation.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
· CCIE / CCDE Security or CCNP Security certification.
· Experience with Cisco Hypershield and ThousandEyes.
· Knowledge of micro-segmentation and Cisco ACI.
· Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
· Familiarity with Cisco Multicloud Defense, Panoptica, Talos threat intelligence, or Secure Workload (Tetration).
