Overview:
Mastercard is looking for an energized commercial/technology attorney to join its dynamic legal team to serve as a legal partner for the recent acquisition, Recorded Future, which will be organized within the Services vertical, within Security Solutions at MA.
Mastercard’s Security Solutions team provides strategic and cutting edge safety, security, identity, fraud and now, threat intelligence solutions to Mastercard’s customers and cardholders.
This innovative team helps develop the next generation of Mastercard product solutions with respect to authentication, artificial intelligence, behavioral biometrics, cybersecurity, contactless transactions, and the internet-of-things.
Under the direction of the Senior Managing Counsel, Recorded Future, Integration Product Lead, this position will provide the legal and general support for the global commercialization of the Recorded Future products and services and its functionalities in the United States for both government and commercial customers; either within the MA payment ecosystem and beyond, to Recorded Future’s diverse customer base.
This position will be based in Purchase, St. Louis or Miami and requires experience with government/commercial contracting product development and sales as well as regulatory, privacy and product development innovation.
Role:
Provide solution-oriented counsel in support of the commercialization and sales efforts of the regional and Recorded Future and Security Solutions product and sales teams.
Assist the broader Security Solutions legal team by closely monitoring and staying tuned with SS’s global and regional strategy and direction, connecting the dots and understanding big picture and helping to guide the rest of the legal team to support the business accordingly and assisting in keeping the legal team proactive and ahead.
Advise on government/commercial legal, regulatory, reputational, and liability matters for new and existing products under an agile product development environment.
Provide subject matter expertise with respect to cybersecurity laws and product development related to Recorded Future BAU product sales as well as MA product/ sales synergies.
Research on local law, in particular related to government cyber sales, conduct jurisdictional reviews, and collaborate with subject matter experts on data privacy, cryptocurrency, regulatory, IP, and other issues.
Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial, services, partnership and license agreements.
Leadership and liaison roles in aligning and collaborating across various business and legal teams.
Collaborate with team members on product development and go-to-market implementation.
Strategic partner and trusted advisor to a demanding business unit; High level of interaction with business clients.
Support sales and execution initiatives globally.
All About You:
Solid corporate transactional training and experience minimum of five to seven years, (preferably from a highly reputable law firm);
Must have strong drafting and negotiations skills with the ability to manage complex issues and deal structure.
Ability to operate in an agile and less than full information environment and ability to make quick but calculated decisions while managing risk effectively.
Must be pragmatic, solutions-oriented, business-friendly, creative, nimble, thought provoker, and an advocate for the business.
Must have leadership skills in bringing different perspectives together and work through competing priorities.
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively, but also take direction from manager and other team members, as appropriate.
Must multi-task effectively in an extremely fast-paced team environment with short turnaround times.

A Juris Doctorate degree and admitted to bar and in good standing.

The North American Services Team is part of the Mastercard global services organization. This is a key pillar of Mastercard’s strategy to grow the breadth and depth of our client offerings and shape the payments landscape for the future. The NAM organization delivers the latest innovations to our clients from cybersecurity to payment optimization, Identity services, consulting and more.
We are seeking a Director of Sales, who will report directly to own a portfolio of key accounts. This position requires the Director to be an experienced sales leader with a deep understanding of consumer banking and how small and midsized banks leverage credit card programs to achieve their financial objectives. Additionally, this person must understand how fraud and cybersecurity trends and technology impact card program profitability.
Key Skills
Leadership and Strategy: You will work with account teams to build strategies to achieve revenue targets. You will develop sales plans, identify market opportunities, and align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Revenue Generation: You are responsible for driving revenue growth and meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets. You will develop and implement sales initiatives, monitor sales performance, and take corrective actions to ensure consistent revenue generation.
Sales Forecasting and Planning: You analyze market trends, customer demand, and historical sales data to forecast future sales for your assigned accounts.
Relationship Management: You will thrive on building and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.
Sales Performance Analysis: Dir of Sales analyzes sales metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market data to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement within assigned accounts. They implement strategies to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
Collaboration and Alignment: You will collaborate with product development and GTM teams to provide feedback from issuers and partners on product capabilities, market need, ROI, and cyber/fraud trends
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: You monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition and use those insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Extensive work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience selling technology solutions to the banking industry
• Experience in an operational, consulting or sales role focused on cybersecurity.
• A working knowledge of the application of intelligence assets to mitigate security/fraud threats
• Business development or sales experience in the payments industry
• Demonstrated history of individual and team quota achievement
• Excellent client relationship management skills with demonstrated track record of strategic selling
• Executive presence and communication skills, both written and oral, including executive level communications, and track record of influencing others
• Teamwork, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and ability to influence and lead by example
• Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Perform administrative and maintenance support for in-scope solutions and platforms such as Microsoft ADFS, Thales SafeNet, Thales CipherTrust Transparent Encryption and Key Management, Certificate LifeCycle Management (AppviewX)
+ Engage with the community to explore opportunities and or alignment for in scope security solutions.
+ Gather and document business requirements
+ Work with various IT teams to develop and deliver IT solutions
