**Job Description**
**What You'll Do**
+ Architect and implement a scalable, reusable API framework to integrate enterprise-wide systems.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams Database, AI, high-code, infrastructure, and low-code to own the full SDLC and ensure top-quality delivery.
+ Champion innovation each quarter by proposing new ideas and building proof-of-concepts ; make sure they are aligned with business objectives.
+ Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables, anticipating challenges and proactively mitigating risks.

+ Should own the full API Lifecycle, keep track of API usage, versions and decommission/deprecate the one not being used.

+ Keep track of recent product features/announcements.
+ Support applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
**What You'll Need**
+ Should have experience working in On-premises, AWS, Azure cloud services and have understanding of different deployment topologies.
+ Experience working in API gateway platforms such as MuleSoft Flex Gateway, APIGEE, Azure API Management.
+ Should have experience in applying/govern security policies. Proficient in designing and implementing comprehensive unit and API testing using Nunit and Robot Framework.
+ Understanding of AI agent architecture terminologies such as RAG, MCP, A2A and their usages in automating workflows and enabling AI-assisted software development.
+ Foundational knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocols), A2A (Agent to Agent)/ACP protocols for securely exposing MCP and A2A specification for web applications to consume.
+ Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request, and response modifications etc.
+ Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable
+ Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OAUTH2) for securing APIs with Open ID connect and Multi factor Authentication.
