As a Functional Consultant/ Sr Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workdays product solutions. You will provide your implementation expertise to our clients while understanding how to best configure and test Workday solutions to meet their business requirements.
About You
- Basic Qualification
- 5+ consulting experience preferred either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization in another ERP application (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian or similar applications)
- 8 + years of functional experience in Financials, Revenue, Spend software solutions or systems
- Should have experience in at least 2 full cycle client implementations
- Must have demonstrated strong client and stakeholder engagements to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects.
- Developing as a domain expert to find the right solution to the client requirement
- Develops working relationships with other members of team and management as well as onshore counterparts.
- Possesses sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision
- Key Areas of Responsibility
- Master at least 2 modules in the Workday Financial product suite (Procure to pay, spend management, customer, project billing.).
- Perform the following on a client engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the building of prototype configuration, assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
- Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday.
- Assist the Integration Consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
- Understand Workday s Implementation Methodology and use it on all client engagements.
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workdays proven solutions.
- Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.
- Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships.
