**Fund Accounting - Subject Matter Expert**

This document outlines the responsibilities and requirements for a Senior Individual Contributor and Subject Matter Expert within the Fund Accounting team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of fund valuation data for various downstream processes.
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Reconciliation Expertise:**
+ Possess deep understanding and expertise in cash, securities, and unit reconciliation processes.
+ Independently investigate and resolve complex discrepancies, including unmatched cash and stock differences between internal records and custodian statements.
+ Proactively identify and analyze reconciliation breaks, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate actions, SWIFT messages, custody statement formats, and their impact on reconciliation.
+ Possess the ability to perform manual reconciliations when necessary, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the underlying principles.
+ **Data Analysis & Process Improvement:**
+ Leverage analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks within reconciliation data.
+ Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within the reconciliation function.
+ Contribute to the design and testing of new technologies and system enhancements related to reconciliation processes.
+ Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
+ **Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:**
+ Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Fund Accounting team members, Operations, Technology, and Compliance, to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
+ Communicate clearly and concisely with external stakeholders, such as custodians and clients, to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and address inquiries.
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices in reconciliation.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert on reconciliation processes, providing guidance and support to the team and stakeholders.

**Requirements:**
+ **Experience:**
+ Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in Fund Accounting Operations, with a strong focus on reconciliation processes.
+ Proven track record of independently investigating and resolving complex reconciliation breaks.
+ Experience working with various financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
+ Should have experience in Alladin experience
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tools.

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Cloud (2 positions available) to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.

The Senior Engineer, Cloud will manage highly scalable, elastic and resilient cloud architectures that simultaneously address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of cloud services. The role helps QUT business understand best practices around advanced cloud solutions and platforms and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. The role will collaborate with the architecture team and other IT Professionals to shape and execute a strategy to build support for and broad use of cloud services where appropriate. We are seeking an experienced Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow to provide a range of research activities that support AusHSI and diabetes foot disease research. The appointee will work with other AusHSI researchers and health service partners to provide research activities and support for a suite of health services research and clinical research projects (including those funded by NHMRC and MRFF grants) focused on the diabetes foot disease priority areas of (but not limited to): quantifying disease burdens, identifying key risk factors and evaluating novel treatments. There will also be the opportunity for the appointee to develop new projects and obtain competitive funding, in alignment with diabetes foot disease priority areas and the objectives and approval of the AusHSI leadership team.

2. Demonstrated experience in researching, evaluating or supporting the quantification of disease burdens, development of risk factor modelling and/or evaluating novel treatments.
3. Demonstrated experience in positively contributing to multi-disciplinary research projects, including writing research proposals, reports, peer-review journal articles and developing conference presentations.
4. Demonstrated ability to supervise research students to produce high-quality research outputs (e.g. peer-reviewed journal articles, reports, theses, conference presentations, funding proposals).
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate research findings effectively – in writing, in presentations and in meetings – to a range of audiences.
6. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

 Level C (Senior Research Fellow)
