We are looking for an experienced **Technical Product Owner** to join us to help us expand our service offerings. Our ideal candidate has a solid track record of successful project executions for enterprise applications and will serve as a project coordinator and communicator for all relevant business areas throughout the product development lifecycle.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead standard agile development ceremonies and backlog management
+ Manage cross-team (dev, design, product, etc.) initiatives
+ Translate high level product requirements into detailed requirements and practical work guidelines for engineering teams to follow
+ Help scope projects and come up with high-level estimations
+ Serve as the single point of contact for project information & status
+ Proactively uncover and address issues and open items
+ Create and maintain master project schedule in partnership with engineering
+ Ensure all project tasks have clear owners (dev and non-dev) and that timelines from inception to rollout are understood and have clear drivers
+ Adjust project schedules with Eng leads and communicate impact as plans change
+ Run meetings effectively, set agenda, send detailed follow up, and drive to decisions

**Experience, Skills & Education**
+ 3+ years of experience in project management
+ 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner in B2B/SaaS organization
+ 2+ years of experience in Agile & Scrum processes
+ Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
+ Solid knowledge of and practical experience with project management, agile software development, software engineering, designing and developing reliable and scalable web-based, high-volume data applications
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience working with multiple geographies using collaboration tools
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
+ Experience with business applications and software development management applications such as Jira, Word, Excel and/or Project

The Product Owner (PO) is a subject matter expert, considered as the content authority for the team level of the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe).
The PO is responsible for a number of complex products or services, including managing the team backlog, writing, prioritizing and accepting user stories, and representing the customer to the Agile team. They optimize return on investment by ensuring that the Scrum team members are engaged in delivering the most valuable product features.

**Key responsibilities:**
+ Provides vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders.

+ Works closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
+ Leads the planning product release plans and sets expectation for delivery of new functionality/capability.
+ Provides an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release and Iteration goals.
+ Drives iteration goals and iteration content via prioritized stories.
+ Establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories into the baseline.
+ Researches and analyzes the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
+ Follows business competitors and the industry and keeps abreast with Agile/Scrum/SAFe best practices and new trends and seeks to relentlessly improve the operation of the Product Owner role.
+ Required to perform any other activity relevant to the role.

+ You will be a key contributor to the product vision, capturing and prioritizing requirements, creating a roadmap, and facilitating successful product implementation in EBTS (Enterprise Business & Technology Services) Applied Innovation Team.

+ Serve as product and project owner on several high impact deliverables.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and business units, to understand their needs, translate them into technical solutions / user stories, and set expectations.
+ Partner with technology teams to meet the overall release plan at the project and team level, understand blockers/limitations and their impact on the product and relevance to end users.
+ Set priorities, create a roadmap, and establish clear objectives for the technology team responsible for building and enhancing the product.
+ Create release and launch plans in coordination with the Business and Engineering teams.
+ Grooming and prioritization of the backlog.
+ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous enhancements (feedback loops).
+ Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to insurance and user experience.
+ Filter requests-pushing back when necessary-and prioritize requests in order to keep the team focused on delivering impactful solutions.

+ At least 12 years of digital or technical experience, as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role, a plus if in a technical or regulated environment.
+ At least 3 years of Agile experience or a demonstrable understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, etc.)
+ Familiarity with Jira or similar backlog management tools and software development lifecycle methodologies
+ Experience working on both customer facing products as well as backend products (DBs and APIs)
+ Knowledge of data privacy regulations, and security best practices is a plus.
+ Ability to break down technical issues into easily digestible data points for stakeholder consumption.
