**Responsibilities**
+ Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and market trends.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Practice Management systems , preferably within the Greenway Health ecosystem . The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality products that improve healthcare workflows, enhance revenue cycle processes, and drive value for providers and patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Greenway-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and engineering teams to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure product features address RCM workflows including Insurance & Eligibility, Claims, and Billing .
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize practice management processes.
  • Conduct backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities in line with agile best practices.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and ensure alignment of product releases with compliance, usability, and business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in healthcare technology.
  • Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Practice Management systems .
  • Hands-on experience with Greenway Health solutions (Greenway Insights, Clearinghouse Services, Validation Engine preferred).
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with proven experience in backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with data-driven decision making.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with EHR/EMR platforms and integrations.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT, HL7, FHIR standards.
  • Certifications in CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or Agile frameworks .

Job Summary

The Product Owner plays a critical role in driving product development and delivery within Agile teams. This position is responsible for translating business strategy and customer needs into actionable product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

As the primary liaison between business units and development teams, the Product Owner ensures the right product is built at the right time to deliver maximum value.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision and strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Own and manage the product backlog across multiple Agile teams, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and synthesize customer insights, market trends, and business needs.
  • Write clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Draft technical documentation, including internal and customer-facing API docs .
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product ownership or related roles.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in cross-functional Agile team environments.
  • Technical fluency and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile platforms .
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and advocate for customer needs through direct engagement and data analysis.


Mandatory Technical Skills (role-based, any of the following)

  • SQL & Snowflake (Intermediate competency)
  • Postman, JSON, XML, XSLT (Intermediate competency)
  • API documentation experience
  • Strong understanding of data integration workflows


Good-to-Have Skills

  • Working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Familiarity with insurance industry trends and customer needs


Domain

  • Prior experience in the Insurance domain is strongly preferred.
