About the Role
SRG Global is seeking an experienced and driven Superintendent to join our Asset Maintenance Services team. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the full coordination and execution of all Concrete, Coatings & Cladding activities across maintenance and shutdowns, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes aligned with client expectations and company objectives.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of supervisors and trades, playing a key role in operational planning, execution, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a local Monday to Friday role based out of the Worsley Aluminia site location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution including risk assessments, estimating, scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Site Managers, HSEQ, Contracts Managers and clients to define scope, budgets and priorities.
- Monitor project compliance with cost forecasts, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee plant, equipment and labour requirements across multiple work fronts.
- Drive team performance through effective leadership, mentoring and communication.
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are integrated across all activities.
- Regularly review project and financial performance, identifying opportunities to reduce cost or improve value.
- Maintain strong client relationships and actively contribute to work planning and innovation.
- Provide input into estimates for additional scopes of work and assist with commercial strategies.
About You
You will bring proven experience in a similar leadership role within a fixed plant maintenance environment and a strong understanding of industrial coatings, insulation, or cladding.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership experience within CCC or similar asset services environments.
- In-depth knowledge of paint & blast, or insulation & cladding disciplines.
- Proven commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting and cost control.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- High standards in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
