System Administrator - AI/ML Platform
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient
AI/ML Cloud Platform Administrator
to manage, monitor, and secure our cloud-based platforms supporting machine learning and data science workloads. This role requires deep familiarity with both
AWS
and
Azure
cloud services, and strong experience in platform configuration, resource provisioning, access management, and operational automation. You will work closely with data scientists, MLOps engineers, and cloud security teams to ensure high availability, compliance, and performance of our AI/ML platforms.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Provision, configure, and maintain ML infrastructure on AWS (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, EKS, EC2, S3) and Azure (e.g., Azure Foundry, Azure ML, AKS, ADF, Blob Storage)
- Manage cloud resources (VMs, containers, networking, storage) to support distributed ML workflows
- Deploy and Manage the open source orchestration ML Frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
- Implement RBAC, IAM policies, Azure AD, and Key Vault configurations to manage secure access.
- Monitor security events, handle vulnerabilities, and ensure data encryption and compliance (e.g., ISO, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Monitor and optimize performance of ML services, containers, and jobs
- Set up observability stacks using Fiddler, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes – EKS/AKS)
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep to automate environment provisioning
- Collaborate with MLOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and model operationalization
- Implement lifecycle policies, quotas, and data backups for storage optimization
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 7 years in cloud administration, with 2+ years supporting AI/ML or data platforms
- Proven hands-on experience with both AWS or Azure
