Role Description

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who can drive end-to-end product development — from architecture and design to deployment and optimization.

You’ll lead a small, agile team building next-generation AI platforms using React, Python, and FastAPI , and integrate with cutting-edge LLM, computer vision, and automation systems .

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping technical direction, reviewing code, enforcing quality standards, and mentoring developers — while staying hands-on with the codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack engineering efforts across multiple AI products (chatbots, vision systems, content generation platforms).
• Architect scalable systems using Python (FastAPI/Flask) and JavaScript (React/Node.js).
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate LLMs, APIs, and ML models into production systems.
• Drive DevOps practices – containerization, CI/CD, and cloud deployments on AWS/Azure .
• Mentor and guide junior developers , conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on coding background.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript , React.js , and Node.js .
• Strong backend experience with Python (FastAPI or Flask) .
• Proven experience in building REST APIs, microservices, and scalable architectures .
• Solid understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines , and modern development workflows.
• Strong understanding of system design and performance optimization .

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Java , Docker , and Kubernetes .
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure .

• Strong object-oriented design skills with a deep understanding of design patterns, rest, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication.

• Can play the role of ai engineer, evaluate multiple possibilities, and identify the best models for the job at hand.

• Experience in adopting ai in the sdlc process.

• Proven ability to build reusable code libraries, frameworks, and platform components.

• Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production systems.

• Strong knowledge of non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance, reliability).

• Experience monitoring and optimizing system performance metrics.

• Ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks with accurate estimates.

• Validation Gap Analysis : Conduct comprehensive gap analyses of existing IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation, protocols, and processes against regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485) and industry best practices.
• Deviation Investigation and Resolution : Investigate deviations encountered during IQ, OQ, and PQ processes, determine root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Protocol and Reports Review : Review IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports for equipment, utilities, and facilities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with engineering, production, quality assurance, and other teams to coordinate qualification activities and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Documentation and Record Management : Review complete validation documentation, including risk/impact assessments, change-control records, and deviation reports.

Qualifications/ JD:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Biomedical / SW /HW Engineering , Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in validation within the medical device industry, with a focus on IQ, OQ, and PQ activities.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical device regulations, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.
• Validation Expertise: In-depth knowledge of validation methodologies, including IQ, OQ, and PQ for equipment, utilities, and processes.
• Risk Management: Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA) and their application in validation activities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify gaps, interpret data, and propose effective solutions.

Technical Proficiency:

• ISO 14971, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820
• Tools like DOORS, Polarion, TrackWise, SAP PLM
• Familiarity with AI/ML-based SaMD and cybersecurity frameworks
